Trying to start over

Libby re-entered the school. She had been away for about a month after having to leave to see her family after her grandma passed away. She was more nervous than anything about re-starting because of the questions she might be asked, although she was also looking forward to seeing and making new friends again. She hoped at some point she would be able to see Darren or Jacob, but now she was just wandering around the corridors looking for someone to talk to.

Emilie too was walking around the seventh floor, she was up to nothing just taking a break. Looking up she noticed Libby, a girl she had met earlier walking around the corridor, she seemed deep in thought. Emilie wondered if she should say hello, and being the person she is she decided too

"Hi Libby" she said hoping she hadn't interrupted any important thoughts.

Libby signed and decided to give up on them. She glanced up at the sound of a voice she thought she recognised and smiled at the first year in front of her. "Hi Emilie. Wait..can i call you Em?" she asked politly. "What you up to then?" she asked wondering why on a day like this she was inside. "Oh, are you a fan of little children? And i mean little" she asked, pulling a picture out of her cloak and handing it to Emilie. "That's my little sister, Natasha, she was born three days ago" she grinned. "Do you have any siblings?" she questioned interested.

"Sure you can call me Em, or Emi" Emilie replyed, and when Libby showed her the photo of Natasha "She is the cutest! Its pretty hard to believe that we used to be that small isn't it?!" she laughed and added "I have two siblings, a brother Jasper, and a sister Rubie, they're twins"

She looked out a nearby window, she could see the forbidden forest, she had always wondered what was in there, but she didn't think she was daring enough to go in. She turned back to Libby.

Libby smiled, "Yeah" she agreed. Her eyes followed Em's gaze outside, and looking over to the forbidden forest she started to feel sad, remembering the last time she'd been in there was with Darren, who she hadn't seen for a year now. "It's suprizing how people change" she said to the first year. "So," she smiled "Are the twins older or younger than you?" she asked.

"They're three years younger, they can be annoying occasionally too" she paused remembering moments "but usually pretty cool" she said smiling.
