Cyndi walked up to the owlery with a letter in her hand. Since the crazy weekend she had at Brightstone, Cyndi had thought about and thought about what had happened between her and Riley among other things. That weekend had been a terrible one. Not only did she get into a terrible argument with Riley but she also had some creep bother her at the Medley and pour a drink on her and call her names. All in all, it wasn't one of her favorite days though some good had come from it. Cyndi smiled slightly as she thought about the man who had come to her rescue that night.
Taking out the letter, Cyndi read it over again.
With a sigh, Cyndi attached it to her owl and watched as it soared off to deliver her message.

Riley,
You have no idea how many times I've re-written this letter and even now I'm thinking about ripping this up and starting a new one. I think weneedshould talk about some things and maybe if we're not in front of each other when we do it, it will be easier. I think we are both too hot-headed and arguing seems to be getting us nowhere. And we were friends after all or so I'd like to think. I don't really know anymore.
I think what upsets me the most about everything is that you think I'm making a big deal about it all. Well, you're making no deal as if what you did was ok. For the record, it wasn't. But, you are right about one thing. We were never very serious. Sure we shared a few kisses and some other stuff, but it wasn't as if I expected you to marry me or anything.
I'm sorry this isn't making any sense. But, I want us to try and resolve this before I get home because it's going to be kind of hard for us to avoid each other in the same apartment. It's not really big enough.
Hope Midnight and Speedy are doing well.
Cyndi
