Transfiguration 5:5

Professor Potter decided that she was going to work a bit of conjuring today for her class, since they would be working with those next year. As they all sat down, she rose from her seat, walking to the front of the class. "Welcome. We are going to be working with a bit more difficult animal today." She looked at the class with a grin, then quickly waved her wand, conjuring up a duck on the desk of a very surprised student. "Ducks!" she said excitedly, picking up the animal. "Now, I will conjure up your duck for you when we are ready. Conjuring will be the type of spell you will learn about next year. I didn't want to have a sord of mallards running around the room on us."

As she set the duck in her hands back down, it began to wander around the room. She tapped the air in front of her, and spoke the spell. The duck disappeared just as quickly as it had appeared. "Alright. Now do remember that with the right amount of concentration. You don't have to be right on top of your duck. Experiment with moving around the room. I will conjure you a new one if you wish to try again as well. Now if you all will stand up, we can get started."

Once the students were up, she flicked her wand and moved the desks to the side of the room and then with another quick flick, a sord of mallards were in the open area. "Go to it!" she said as she clapped her hands, stepping back to watch the mayhem commence.

Homework:RP attendance. Completing the lesson is optional. Have fun with your duck! I am looking forward to reading your responses.

Vanishing a duck sounded like an impossible task, but Esme had been able to vanish everything put in front of her so far that semester, so she hoped she’d be able to do this, too. She waited for Professor Potter to conjure a duck for her, and then she took out her wand and got to work. “Evanesco,” There were a lot of attempts with nothing to show for it, but eventually, Esme managed to vanish her duck, and she was very happy that she had managed to keep up with the increasingly difficult vanishing attempts. Once the lesson was over, Esme packed up her things and left the classroom.

Nox made his way into the Transfiguration classroom and listened to his aunt explain that they would be vanishing conjured ducks, and Nox was eager to take on the challenge. He took out his wand, and once he had a duck to work with, he got to work. “Evanesco,” After working on it for a few attempts, he eventually managed to vanish it and got another duck to try it again, which he successfully vanished again. Once the lesson was over, Nox packed away his things and made his way out of the classroom.

Winnie walked into the transfiguration classroom and took her usual spot in the room. She looked at the animal they'd be working on. She cared more about ducks than about mice, but still, she wanted it gone, wanted to do well with the spell. Winnie took her wand and one of the ducks. She pointed her wand at it and tapped three times before saying. "Evanesco," she managed to make it vanish. With that the lesson was wrapped up and she headed out of the room.

Feeling defeated Lilith was ready for another lesson of her favourite subject. She'd lost the leaf during Halloween but gotten right back on it so it was yet again another lesson with a leaf in her mouth and she just knew that spellcasting would be so much fun. Joking if last class had been anything to go by it'd be less joyous. Finding her seat in the room Lilith focused on the professor and the ducks. At least she'd practiced talking with the leaf enough by now that the pronunciation shouldn't be such a nightmare. Looking at her duck for a little while Lilith focused on it before tapping it thrice accompanied with the incantation. "Evaneshco." It was far clearer than the first few times from last time had been, but it was still a little odd sounding. Not quite perfect. It wasn't a surprise when the first try didn't work. Trying again Lili managed the incantation perfectly and watched as the duck vanished. By the end of the class the prefect had practiced a few more times, enough to be confident that she'd be able to handle spells fairly well with the leaf now, and made her way out of the room.
