History

Tracey was born to into the Tesla family; Michelle, Darren and, occasionally, Teddy. She grew up idolising her big brother as he spent all of his time with her when he was at their house and not with his dad. From him she learnt to hate her father, Darren, play rugby and play the drums. She didn't like the drums so much so she switched to the piano instead.
When she was about eight she discovered that, unlike her parents (who are both muggles) but like her brother, she could do magic. She had managed to make one of her teddy bears float by herself. Tracey was ecstatic, it meant she was more like Teddy, but Darren was not. Her father blew up and told her she wasn't welcome there any more.
Tracey packed her things and left immediately, scared and wondered what to do. She eventually decided to try and find Kevin. Teddy's daddy had always been nicer to her than her real daddy had and he could do magic too. She found a route and, a few hours, a lot of trains and a load of lies later, found herself outside their flat across the country. Kevin took her in and protected her, even when her mother turned up demanding to know the truth after Darren had lied to her.
They did a test after that and discovered that Kevin was actually her father. She moved in with them while her mother went to 'find herself'. She was happy with them and got her surname changed to Cameron. Stacy had a little girl and Tracey learnt how to help out with looking after Olivia While Teddy was in school.
When she was almost ten, Kevin got into an accident leaving his work (a plumber) and was sent into a coma. After two weeks he died. Stacey, her step-mother, went into a depression as she was pregnant again, and Tracey helped look after Olivia. Teddy dropped out of school to help. After the baby was born, Oscar Cameron, Stacey shut down completely and only left her room to find something new to drink.
Five months after the accident, the family was working the best they could when two of their cousins appeared on their door. Alfie and Jesse moved in after both of their families had been killed in a house fire after the two boys had left for some fresh air. None of their siblings were left. The boys moved into the spare room and they helped out looking after the younger children.
With the extra help around the house, Teddy got a social life and Tracey became involved in it. She befriended the brother of her own brothers' best friend (Sydney Caine). Marcus Caine was the same age as her and they got along well despite the different personalities. She also got along well with some of Teddy's other friends (Moriah, Ivana, Sydney and Markov) but they were older than her and scared her a little bit.
First Year
Tracey immediately got sorted into Hufflepuff when she was sorted, to her great happiness, however, Marcus got sorted into Slytherin. He wanted to be a Slytherin as his entire family had been, like Tracey with Hufflepuff, but it worried her that they wouldn't be able to be friends any more. Luckily though, he still decided to be friends with her even though he got teased for it.
