New Zealand was a strange place, Falcon had decided. The countryside that had past by out the window of the rental car had held an abnormal amount of sheep and funny looking ferns. Though he much preffered Canada, and surprising France also, this strange little country with the weird accented people, was quite nice. It was also the height of summer here, a nice change from the freezing winds of of Canada and France. Falcon was here with his new parents of a year, visiting Arianna. They had chosen to come to New Zealand this time instead of Arianna coming to Canada like normal, so that Falcon could see New Zealandand they could all get a break from the winter.
Falcon was finally by himself after spending twelve extremely long hours on the plane to Auckland. His adopted parents were off in search of somewhere to stay, and he had been allowed to go and do whatever he liked. Enjoying the sensation if being independent again, Falcon was now changed into a lighter tshirt and shorts, and walking around observing kiwis of all ages lying about on the beach. Falcon looked almost longingly at the people swimming in the calm waves on the shore. If he had known how to swim, he would have dove straight into the cool water. The heat was so intense. He looked around briefly at the bunch of bikini clad girls to his right. They were giving him curious looks, probably finding his milky white skin amusing. Uninterested, he moved away from them without a backwards glance, headed for a deserted seat partially in the shade. Sinking down on it, he was glad of the trees providing some relief from the sticky heat.
