Tommy!

Austiin was smiling his face off today, he was so happy he felt like a two year old in a candy store, for today he was getting a kid, sure the child wouldn’t be blood related but Austiin didn’t care, he always wanted a baby, to be a parent, just to know how it felt, he wouldn’t let Cameron or Abby discourage him, they were convinced that he wouldn’t be father material, and Stephanie tried to make him look into the future of child care and to see all the problems of being a single parent, but all Austiin could see was Christmas when he would be able to buy his own child a million dollars worth of presents, and tell them about magic, and if they weren’t magical he would be happy to give up all magic and live as a muggle, but he knew he was magical, though he couldn’t help thinking about how his life would change if he had to adopt a muggle baby.

Austiin turned into the next street, he was looking for a little blonde boy that should have a little suitcase, Austiin was trying to think what a 4 year old would need a suitcase for but he didn’t really care, when he saw the little boy and nearly burst into pieces, he was trying to bottle up his excitement so he didn’t scare the kid, he quickly walked up to the boy and knelt down, smiling. “Hey Tommy.” He said smiling still.

Tommy stood very still, the lady he was waiting with had left him alone to stand in this street with people walking by everywhere, Tommy was out of his comfort zone and he was scared, he was only 4 and was alone so naturally he started worrying and imagining all sorts of things going wrong, he quickly looked down at the picture he was given, he didn’t like what he saw, the picture was of the person who adopted him it was the picture of a man, that was enough to turn Tommy off, he didn’t like men, any adult period set him off, he would much rather a woman to take him to live with them, but most of all he really wanted to live with Donna, she was a nice lady that owned a candy store, Tommy really liked her.

Tommy looked to his right, and gripped his little case tight, he saw the man that would be taking him, he quickly looked at the back of the photo, it told him a little about the man taking him, this included his name, Austiin, apparently Austiin was 24 and single, at least he wouldn’t be swamped with tones of people around him, he put on a false smile when Austiin spoke, the lady that left before told him to be nice. “Hi.” He said, kicking at a little pebble on the ground.

Austiin looked at Tommy, he was adorable, his little blue eyes were so cute, Austiin looked at the boys clothes and shook his head, he needed new clothes, ones that fitted him better and looked nicer, but he wasn’t sure if he should take Tommy shopping first or take him to meet the family, he didn’t want to scare him in the first five minutes by letting him meet Abby and the others, but he didn’t want to put off him meeting them, so he decided that he would let Tommy choose. “Would you like to go shopping for some knew stuff, or would you like to see where you live?” He asked getting off his knee and looking down at Tommy, waiting for his decision.
