It was around the time of the new moon and briar felt amazing. after the illness of the previous couple of weeks she was was full of energy. for the last couple of days she had been waking up early and running a couple of laps of the lake before classes. she had then been powering through her classes and even doing her homework without much fuss. sure, her sleep was still uneasy but at least it currently wasn't too much of a drain for her. this afternoon Briar was outside as her classes had just finished. she sprinted around the lake pushing her body harder than she had donee in a while. the last few years she had started flying a lot more than running which was all very well but it wasn't the same. In the prefects ears were a pair of headphones and it was attached to a small radio. she didn't care what was playing just so long as there was some noise as running was her way to clear her head, but whenever her head was clear thoughts of what had happened came to haunt her, the sound gave her something to focus on. today she was lucky and some upbeat music was playing on the muggle radio station to which she was tuned. the other day it had been some spoken program in a different language. it still did its job but the music was better. after her second lap of the lake she sat on the lawn and took a few heavy swigs from her water bottle. speed was good but she really wanted something that required thought. she liked running fast between obstacles but she wasn't going to go into the forest, not since last year and what had happened to her step farther. the only time she was going to go in in the near future was to visit her sister. she lay back on the floor for a couple of minutes feeling her heart go back to normal. a quick breather whilst she thought of something more challenging to do.

"Guten Morgen!, Guten Tag!" the blonde repeated once more. She heard her mother was staying in Berlin for the past few months, and soon she'll be there to. For a vacation of course, preferably that's why she's been practicing her German words as well as her accent. The language was easy to memorize it was her accent that easy to change, her French accent made it hard. The Sixth year was running at the moment, she had hear earphones with her attached to her ears of course. The mix-tape her mom gave her was really helpful, she had it played all night. Making she memorized every word on it, she even have a dictionary with her. But Milena decided to leave it in her dorm, "Ich bin nicht interessiert" she spoke now with a different accent. It sounded much better that the usual, she thought then continued running. Milena needed the exercise, she felt her muscles should be stretched to.

The Slytherin's body began to feel tense and tired, but she still continued on running once more. "Letzte Runde!" she shouted then ran as fast as she can, slightly closing her eyes. The cold air running through her face was really uplifting at the same time refreshing. For a moment she decided to stop, her hands leaning to her bent knees. He breathing so fast and heavy, Milena was gasping for air and more air as she could. After a few moment her normal breathing returned, she took a deep break then exhaled. The blonde checked her pulse assuring that the beat was normal, and it was. She suddenly noticed that there was a person laying on the floor, which she wished was dead.

Briar looked over as she heard someone shout something that she didn't understand. she could hear her even through her music. she saw the girl run a lap of the lake. she hadn't seen anyone else running laps in a while and was actually surprised to see this girl doing so. she bulled out her headphones and sat up. the girl was okay at running but no where near as fast as her. but then again her upbringing had helped that. a childhood of living with a heard of centaurs was certainly good for ones fitness. and now she was even more of an animal in some ways than she was then.
once the girl was near by she got up and went over to her. she seemed like she had also been pushing herself hard. but the girl didn't seem prepared for the activity. "Do you want some water, It's good to have a drink after a lot of running" she said offering her water bottle. she had refiled it using a useful charm she had learned about in charms class the previous week.

Milena was more fast in the air than the land, she was use to being up on the air most of time. She then decided to stretch up her muscles, getting ready to start the day once more. That was until she heard someone near her, perhaps talking to the Slytherin. The girl looked very familiar, of course she was. A Gryffindor, not that she disliked Gryffindor and all. So, she just ignored the her presence, she took her hand towel and wiped her sweat of. Better yet, she was a Prefect. Prefect or not that didn't changed the fact that their just students, that didn't bothered her the most. Milena wanted to leave but before doing so, she heard the girl offering something. Why on the earth would I want to drink your water? she thought raising her eyebrows at the girl. "Uh, no."Milena replied then turned her back at her. She removed her earphones and place it back to her pocket.

Briar was a little anoyed by the girls rude dismissal of her offer.she hadnt really expected the Snake to rally accept her offer but she had made it none the less. however the rude reply started to make her tick. she had always been a little hot headed. usually using the said anger to help people in need, or just to service but over the last three months she had been through a lot, a lot of things that she couldn't let out. and this girls rude dismissal was like sparks ready to light the fuse. "I'm sorry. I was just offering. there is no need to be rude" she said her displeasure clearly audible. as if to prove a point she took a long mouthful of the fluid before turning her back to the girl. Slowly she started to walk away, she would have taken off in another sprint but she knew that the girl would see her as cowardly if she did that, and she felt bad for running away from other 'situations'. she wasn't sure if the girl would follow her or not. the wild part inside of her wished she would, she needed some kind of release in a way, but the reasonable part of her hoped that she wouldn't as she didn't want to get into trouble for someone as unimportant to her as this girl.

Being disturbed was what Milena hated the most, besides she was a very prank girl there was no need to say thank you when someone's offering a used water bottled. Now, she could feel her heart return to it's normal beat. There was nothing to do at the moment, after all she wasn't an academic person at all. No one blames her for being mean, other than being in Slytherin and now having a father who's murdered. There lots of things to take in, and lot of things that her mother is hiding from her. Milena then crossed her arms, while watching the girl to walking a way. "Goodbye." she said waving at the girl sarcastically. She then continued to wipe her sweat, and obviously she needed to back to her room to take a shower and change her clothes.

Briar was actually supprised that the girl didn't retaliate to her. she could have done with some kind of conflict. oh well, she heard the girls sarcastic reply and in response she pit her earphones and plugged them into her ears obviously blocking her out. "See you"she called raising her hand to just above shoulder height in a kind of wave. the the adrenaline still circulating her system. ready to fight. without looking back she dropped her water bottle on the ground and took off once more around the lake at full sprint. A sprint that she was sure was much faster than any other student in the school could run. hopefully the snake girl would have gone when she got back, but maybe she was still there
