Mark was sat by the lake today. Mainly because the cliffs were to depressing to be after what happened with Tyson. He was sat on a large rock by the waters edge as a huge willow tree shaded him from the sun which was being reflected off the water like little diamonds. There were rabbits on the opposite end of the river bouncing along like little fuzzy bouncy balls.

Mark sighed slightly. This place was definitely more beautiful and peaceful than the cliffs as he couldnt hear the crashing of the sea but instead the gentle trickle of calm freshwater. Of course he was here for a reason, he was meeting Sarah again, his newest friend. Maybe his newest love interest as well. The fact that he was single now meant he could be with her and not have to worry about cheating. Mark picked up a stone and threw it into the calm water, watching the water ripple.
 
Sarah calmly made her way towards the lake, where Mark had intended meeting her today. Sarah hadn't seen him since that incident with Lexi and Willow, he hadn't said much that day when she went back to apologize to Lexi even after they made up. Mark sort of had brush them off saying he had to meet someone else, Sarah hadn't ask him or suspect anything of Mark. Why would she? She was just a friend, and they only share one or or two kisses, "I think" she muttered while trying to remember. She felt a little worried as she grew near Mark, she didn't want him to be sad or down today. She wanted him to be okay at least, but would much rather know if he was not. She didn't want Mark to pretend just for her, "Hey Mark" Sarah smiled slightly stopping at his side.

She decided to sit down next to him, and see how he was doing. "How've you been?" she ask him, her hands now rested on her thighs. She didn't want to pick on the grass, it would just make her nervous and he would notice that. Sarah just acted blunt and civil, he had seen the other side of her, that's what made her worried. Still she figure he would understand and now jump her throat for what she did to Lexi the other day.
 
Mark turned around when he heard a familiar voice. He smiled widely at her. " Hey you. Yeah im fine same as usual. What about you? Oh and how did it go after i left you last time we met?"He asked curiously. The last they met wasnt really on the best of terms but still it didnt really matter much with him. He still saw he and kind of spent time with her, and two other girls looking for a fight but oh well.
 
"I'm fine" she nodded somewhat. "It went well, sorry I had to do it" the girl had threaten her but now they were good friends. "Her mum got me expelled from hogwarts, a long story" she said a little ashamed. "We ended in good terms. So everything okay with you?" she titled her sideways, asking to be truthful.
 
Mark smiled when she said that things had ended on good terms. He was afraid he might have to split another fight up between them. He gave a slight shrug at her question. " Yeah everything is okay with me. I just dumped my girl friend but apart from that im fine." He said with a smile. He was just starting to get over most of the bad stuff in his life now so he was a little more happier with himself and everything else
 
"Oh that's sucks" Sarah never really had a boyfriend. Maybe a crush here and there but Mark had been her first kiss. Than it hit her so quickly, "Wait Mark!" she said almost yelling at the boy. "You had a girlfriend? And you didn't even tell me?" she open her mouth, jaws clenching that preventing from yelling again. Wow, that's was weird, Sarah look down and calm herself quickly pushing her hair back. "Forget that I ask...I mean why didn't you tell me?" she question immediately, she wasn't hurt of anything. He could have least told her before she went on kissing him like a idiot. This never happen to Sarah before but she didn't react badly like most girls would have done.
 
Mark quickly looked at her and shook his head. " Wait Sarah it wasnt like that. We werent like close of anything. It was just a fling and i was going to leave her when i met you anyway, you are the main reason i left her thought." He said standing up. He looked at her for a few quick moments before stepping forward and kissing her. He made a last a few seconds then pulled away to look her in the eyes. " I really like you and i want to be with you. I mean we would be great right, i make you laughed and you make me laugh. Thats a good start." He said with a slight smile on his face
 
It still felt wrong in her book, she started to get up to head for the lake instead she felt Mark lips pressed against her owns. This was a first for Sarah, feeling his lips on hers and for him to leave a girl to be with her. That's not how you start a relationship? Is it? Sarah melted within his hands and let her tense arms become limp. When he let go from kissing her, she felt her lips blurted out "Okay". It still didn't feel right but what felt wrong made her want him even more. She didn't think about that much, Sarah just nodded blushing deeply red.
 
Mark let out a sigh of relief when she accepted him. He smiled when he noticed her blushing. He stroked her cheek with his thumb. " Your so beautiful you know." He felt the heat of her skin on his and rested his forehead on hers. " I was afraid that you would reject me and storm off and never speak to me again." He was expecting that but this he liked so much more.
 
"Why?" she felt her skin burn and prickle where he felt his hands slide by the side of her face. Why would she storm off? Maybe take a walk and just drift thinking about relationship in general but nothing to be mad at Mark about, even if she thought about him all the time now. He had been creeping up in her thoughts, she wanted to know why? Why she was feeling this way? But now that he wanted to be with her and she felt the same way....she wasn't over reacting anymore.Still she wonder why? "You didn't do anything to me...its just I don't know being someone girlfriend doesn't it hold a strong meaning to it?"
 
Mark shrugged. " I dunno. It just seemed like a girly thing to do and i thought that you may do it." He brushed her hair from her face and smiled. " Well we have to start somewhere dont we. I mean im too young to marry you so this is the next best thing." e said kissing the top of her head gently. He wasnt sure if he wanted to get marrade when he was older. Maybe when he was a lot older but not any time soon
 
"Girly? Mark don't be such a sexism" Sarah felt her lips peel back, to a dazzling smile. It soon vanish when he mention something about marriage, it was all a blur to Sarah. "Yes that is the best thing for us right now" she roll her eyes at Mark, the boy she officially dating now. Weird he was becoming her first everything, that made her a little nervous. She laugh uneasily squeezing Mark hands. "Take a slow at a time, and do me a favor? Does it kill to be honest?" she stare back into his eyes. "Hate to see you do a repeat"
 
Mark laughed and shook his head. " Sorry didnt mean to offend you. " He said running his hand through her hair. He held onto her hands and smiled when she squeezed then. " I will always tell you the trust Sarah. I may be a few things but a liar is not something on the list. Besides you know a lot about me anyway." He said kissing the top of her head and sighing. " You know you the best thing that has happened to me in so long i carnt even remember. My life was just a bottomless pit of numbness then something changed when i met you. Its weird how you make me feel." He said frowning slightly as he thought.
 
"Aww Mark that's very nice for you to say. Still I'm sure your life not that bad" she only knew half his story and was willing to wait till he told her more. "Mines probably just beginning, not bad for a start" Sarah drama was mostly family troubles, along with her biological father who rarely sees her. Rafael was to busy in the life of the rich and famous and her mom was to busy loving her job. Sarah hardly had memories of spending time together, except her early years of Sarah growing up and Rafael actually stopping by every two weeks just to spend some times with her. A dispute had stop the visit, another reason why she didn't care for her mother to much. She had push and holler Rafael to neglecting Sarah, she hated when adults came to that extend of taking their fued onto the children. It didn't say much, except being selfish. "Come on let's go to the lake? I heard mer-people live down there? Is it true?"
 
Mark laughed as she talked about the mer-people. He stood up and held out his hand for her to take in her own. " Well i guess we will just have to go and find out wont we." He said giving her a cheeky wink. " So whats going on a your life then. Your saying that its at the beginning so why is that?" He asked her curiously as he looked at her wanting to know every last detail about her so he knew he that much better. He wanted to know her and her to know him. He was determined not to mess this relationship up but he knew he would have to try real hard as his history didnt seem good to him.
