It was only a few weeks into the semester and Matthew had already broken his word that he would stay away from Alana when he returned to Hogwarts. No doubt Chaos had spread word to his family members at the school to look out for he and Alana together and if what happened on the cliffs was anything to go by, he was fair game for whatever the Zhefarovich's could come up with. It wasn't a great feeling having a targert on your back but Matthew didn't have long left being a student at Hogwarts so he just needed to tough it out and stay away from Alana. Though the later was easier said than done.
For the most part avoiding Alana was easy, they were in different years and houses so they didn't naturally cross paths all that much. Matthew had spent all morning in the library cramming, the first load of exams were closer than he would like to admit so the work had already begun. That and he rarely ran into unsavoury characters in the library so it had become a haven for him. After a few hours the seventh year needed some fresh air so he made his way out to the courtyard for some fresh air. He tookba seat on one of the benches in the corner and exhaled.
