Background
Tichondrius was born on the 7th of December 2009, on board the Azure Drake while it was in port in New York. This makes him, technically an American citizen by birth, though he has never stayed in America for more than a month at a time. Being raised in an increasingly affluent family would have made some people proud and snobbish, but his upbringing ensured this would not be the case. At the age of 5 he was sent to his grandfather to learn Igneus Ventus, which he would master in the amazingly short span of six years, attaining the title of master shortly before enrolling at Hogwarts.

The solitude of the Azure Drake meant that rich children were often sent there to be kept out of harm's way; their attitude often put Tichondrius off, making him assume all were identical. This impression lasted until he met Tsukihime Sakura. The two would grow incredibly close, and Sakura began learning Igneus Ventus alongside him at his grandfather's house.


Possesions
Tichondrius has numerous possessions, but the ones he value the most are:

His Warhammer 40K set, including his precious Daemonhunter's army. His intrest in the game can be noted as near fanatical, and it is not uncommon to hear him curse using the various names found in the game.
Most of the set was bought for him by his father, who too, plays the game.

A braclet with silver and black gems, given to him by Sakura along with Hayate upon his enrollment. She too has an identical one.

A ceremonial dagger, hand wrought by his grandfather as is custom for a new master.

A set of silver katars made himself during his Igneus Ventus training. The blades are inscribed with arcane symbols taken from various ancient scrolls considered holy that Tichondrius saw during a visit to a museum oversees.

An amulet, also a gift from Sakura. The chain is fine gold, and has a single silver hawk, with jet eyes.

His wand, newest among his treasured posessions.

Pets
Hayate
A young red-tailed hawk, Hayate was Sakura's other enrollment gift, along with the bracelet described above. Hayate is rather intelligent, and generally accompanies his master everywhere, and even know is at Hogwarts.

Vyper
Vyper is de-fanged cobra, who is really the family pet. Vyper lives on board the Azure Drake, since both November and Scaerlith are equally if not more fond of him.

Kerberos
A white tiger Tichondrius raised from birth, Kerberos seems ferocious, but is really a big softie. Unlike most cats, he can swim, Tichondrius having painstakingly taught him. It wouldn't do for a tiger living on a ship to be unable to swim. He is currently at the Illitharis Mansion, taking advantage of the large grounds to roam like he has never roamed before.

Miscellaneous

The Azure Drake
The Azure Drake is a custom built ship, roughly the size of a small cruise liner. The ship is the main home of the Illitharis family, and is about twenty years old, but kept in good condition by regular maintenance. Its spacious quarters house the entire Illitharis family, along with the attendant staff and their families, bringing the total on-ship population to about seventy. Two helicopters are kept above deck on platforms, with a third one stored below for emergencies. During storms, the two choppers and brought below decks to the hangar, which takes up the forward third of the ship.

The Drake is capable an average of hitting 20 knots, and can generally be found traversing the North or South Atlantic Oceans, making port calls every two months. It is also considered the headquarters of the Illitharis Security Company, because most of its records are either stored or backed up on the ship itself, despite the presence of a proper building on ground.

Igneus Ventus
The martial art of the Illitharis family. Scaerlith, Tymora and Illitharis are all masters. November is adept at it, but does not practice it anymore. The art centers around four tenets:

-Speed - Signified by a snake on the apprentice braid.
-Freedom - Signified by a chain on the apprentice braid.
-Accuracy - Signified by an arrow on the apprentice braid.
-Stillness - Signified by a drop on the apprentice braid.

The four tenets are the main focus of the art, which focuses on speed first and foremost. It is also flexible in that it can be combined with other arts, meaning no two practitioner has the same style. The style was developed back, according to Tymora, in medieval times, to be used with punch knives and the like. For this reason, the apprentice, after mastering any two aspects, starts to train with such weapons in order to accomodate the change.

Scaerlith was an ex-special forces officer, honorably discharged after he lost his right arm in an explosion. After going through rehabilitation, and having the lost limb replaced by a prosthethic, he started a small security company, providing security to functions. Eventually, using his connections in the world, and with his unique experience in such matters, he began providing security to numerous VIPs and larger functions.

When they recieved Tichondrius' enrollment notice, both he and November were notably calm, asking few difficult questions. One might say they expected this. Shortly after the visit from the Ministry, Scaerlith bought the mansion on Stanton Island, making it one of only three Illithari properties on the ground, the other being Tymora's house in Tokyo, and the third being the small beach house they use while the Drake is in dry-dock.

Tichondrius respects his father greatly, as he views his father as an honorable and courageous person, laying his life down for the people in his homeland. Scaerlith, on the other hand, is strict but fair, seldom rewarding Tichondrius unless he has earned it. Despite this, or because of this, some of Tichondrius' most prized possessions come from Scaerlith.

November was born into the prestigous Terra household, minor nobles in England. Her parents died soon after, leaving her an orphan and sole heir to the Terra fortune. Despite this, she joined the Army, and was assigned the secretive MI5. During her final assignment, she met Scaerlith. Two years later, they were married. After she wed Scaerlith, she sold her family's holdings in England, handing over the reins of the businesses to people she trusted. She seldom leaves the Azure Drake now, preferring to stay on board. She often says that she has seen, "Enough of the world to last me a lifetime." Few can argue with that statement. November splits her time between caring for Altec, Tichondrius' baby sister, and handling the paperwork for the company.

When they recieved Tichondrius' enrollment notice, both she and Scaerlith were notably calm, asking few difficult questions. She was the one who broke the news to Tichondrius when he returned from Tokyo.

Tichondrius views her as any son would a doting mother. She has, perhaps notably, never gotten angry in his living memory. Most people are shamed into behaving themselves in her presence, and Tichondrius is no different.

Tymore is Tichondrius' grandfather and his master in Igneus Ventus. He is kind and gentle, yet is still in good physical condition. Age has lent him wisdom to go along with his skills, making him the perfect teacher for the then headstrong Tichondrius.

He died in his sleep at the ripe old age of 69.
