Open Throw Me Away

It had taken some doing and a little magic that she had managed to get her costume together, it was a lot of discarded white material bunched up to be like paper. It was her whole outfit. She was pretty pleased with it. She thought it was quite good, it was what she had wanted. The prefect doubted that anyone else would either understand it or care about it, but she was pretty sure no one was going to appreciate it at all. She walked into the great hall and then went to the drinks table to grab a drink.

"I don't know what you are, but I like it," Elio thought some traditions were a little odd and this was definitely one of them. He'd never been into Halloween really, but he wasn't about to start saying no to a party of all things if he was honest. He picked up one of the drinks and offered one to her as well. "Thanks for the pointers in duelling by the way, you really know what you're doing. How long have you been leading the club?"​

Savannah glanced at the boy, Elio, who approached her. "I'm crumbled paper," she replied with a bored tone, as if it was plainly obvious what she was. She couldn't tell what he was wearing and decided to not bother asking anyway. "Sure," she said with a shrug, not really needing the thanks for in essence doing their job. "Two months," she replied, "Since the start of the year."

Crumbled paper? He hadn't really been aware that was even an idea, but as he took a step back and glanced over her again, he supposed he could kind of see it? If he squinted maybe? Who was he to judge though, it wasn't like his full body black and white photo imagery was exactly special. She'd done way more with less. He was impressed by the creativity of the people in this school honestly. "Ah so you took over for the outgoing President? That's cool, I didn't know there was a thing like the duelling, my mum never said so I'm glad I ran into it. It's been good to get the practice in, especially since I had nothing formal before that, everything was taught to me by my mum and some of her friends," he said, thinking of Aunt Ai and Uncle Conan. They weren't technically his relatives by blood or anything, but that didn't mean anything. He'd learned a lot from Bryce too.​
