Rosalina had been excited to meet up with Chacen. Although she was sure he only thought of her as a close friend, she had the biggest crush on him. He was just so fun to be around, and he was cute too. Tanner often made fun of Rosalina because she wouldn't quit talking about Chacen and how wonderful she thought he was. The young Gryffindor had never really had a crush before so she couldn't be sure if that's exactly what was going on. All she knew, was that he was her favorite person and any chance they had together was time well spent in her opinion. Currently she was sitting at the Gryffindor house table, finishing up the last of her eggs and waiting on Chacen. The two of them agreed to meet up so they could hang out today. It was kind of unfortunate that Brightstone wasn't open, Rosalina could really use a trip to honeydukes to calm her sweet tooth. Honeydukes was also where the pair had met, which made it even more special to her.

Rosalina managed to down the last couple of bites of her breakfast when she heard the familiar laugh she had become so entranced by. When he laughed, you could tell he was genuinely happy. Rosalina instantly perked up, and her honey brown eyes practically danced with excitement. "Chac-" Stopping dead in her tracks, she suddenly became aware that Chacen was not alone. There was another boy with him. At first it would just appear that they were only walking together in the same direction or something of the like, but she could see Chacen talking with him and interacting with him. Trying hard not to show she was pouting about the fact that her crush was more interested in his friends than he was in just spending time with a girl, Rosalina sighed.

Chacen Chevalier was showing his good pal, and also cousin, around the Gryffindor table. Of course, Gavin was not having any of that. He was too shy for his own good, whereas Chacen was very outgoing, much like his parents. Chacen already made loads of friends, and was aiming to show Gavin how to have a little more fun in his life. Chacen was going to introduce Gavin to a special friend of his named Rosalina Starling. She was gorgeous and lovely. He always liked being around her, and figured that Gavin could use a great friend like her as well. Chacen had his arm wrapped around Gavin's shoulders. For now, his eyes were casually wondering around, before finally spotting Rosalina. He said to Gavin, "There she is. Told you she was pretty. But many girls here are. So, you need to talk to her. She is like, my best friend, and you need to become best friends with her too." Ignoring Gavin's words of protest, Chacen dropped his arm from his shoulder, and sat down across from her. And he pulled Gavin down next to him. He smiled toward Rosalina, "Hey! Meet my cousin, Gavin! Our mother's are half sisters, but still cousins. He has a hard time making friends, so I figured that I can show him to you."

Gavin Kovac could not believe that he was being dragged around like he was. Last year, he met his cousin, Chacen Chevalier, and though the two had very different personalities and blood statuses, Gavin found himself to be annoyed at the fact that he was always with the boy. Gavin needed his own time and space to get things done, and what happened? He ended up being a rag doll of a Gryffindor. It was annoying, and Chacen even put his arm around him so that he could not run away. He glared at Chacen for a moment before sighing in defeat. Chacen was stronger than he was. He could not run for long. He looked up when Chacen mentioned that the friend was over there, the one that Chacen would not shut up about. Gavin got a good look at her, before sighing, "Whatever you say." Gavin was forced to sit down at the Gryffindor table, and then Chacen managed to speak once more. He glanced up at the girl named Rosalina before giving her a small wave, and continued to look down at his lap. He uttered in response, "I don't have a hard time making friends. I just choose to study."

Rosalina flushed at Chacen's words. He thought she was pretty? "Could that boy get any more precious?" Rosalina rested a hand on her cheek, attempting to cover up the darkening red settling upon her cheeks. The blush didn't get much darker than a pale rose as her eyes settled upon the new boy Chacen was having sit down from across her. Although she found it hard to be angry at Chacen for too long, she found herself a bit upset that he would invite another person to hang out with them. Staring the boy down with her brown eyes, Rosalina found herself amused by the fact that 'Gavin' seemed like the total opposite of Chacen. When the boy finally spoke up, Rosalina rose an eyebrow. No wonder he didn't have any friends. "Why would you want to study rather than make friends? It's so boring." Her tiny fingers plucked a grab from a nearby plate of fruit and popped it into her mouth, staring Gavin down the whole time she chewed. "What else do you do for fun?" Although she wanted him to get lost so she could spend some time alone with Chacen, she figured it wouldn't go down well if she was mean to him without cause. Might as well try to pretend she was excited to have him around.
