Belle could feel the gentle morning breeze blowing against her face. She closed her eyes for a minute, inhaling the crisp fresh New Zealand air. It was still early in the morning and Belle was certain not one person was awake. She could hear Carla purring contently beside her. Belle looked down at the adorable feline, kneeling down to pat her. Carla was a 10 month old gray British Shorthair that she had gotten as a present. Both her parents were muggles and they were delighted to hear that their own daughter was to be enrolled at a magical school. Belle however, was devastated after finding out that she could not bring her pet goat Dahlia to school, so her mother had gifted her Carla. Carla was everything Belle wanted in a cat. She was clingy, and loved pats and cuddles. Carla was literally like a dog, but in cat form.

Belle stood up carrying Carla in her arms as she continued with her morning stroll. She could hear the birds chirping and it reminded her of home. Every morning she would accompany her grandmother for their daily strolls. They would always hear several birds singing and Belle would always try to guess what breed it was. Her grandmother was a muggle ornithologist and she had taught Belle ways to differentiate the sounds.

Seeing some sort of fluttering in the distance, Carla leaped out of Belle's arms, running quickly towards the source. Surprised, Belle chased after her cat curious to find out what had attracted Carla's attention. Getting close to the source of the fluttering sounds, Belle realized that there was a fallen bird nest on the ground. Belle kneeled down, examining the bird nest. There were two unhatched eggs in total, and three baby birds.

Tim was on the walk with his cat Almera and he heard someone running, and it wouldn't be Tim if he didn't get intrigued by what made someone run so desperately. And when he finally saw the runner, he started to try and see what she was doing. "What are you doing?" he finally asked when understood that he won't see it himself. All he understood, he took Almera in his hands and only then approached the girl.
