The day couldnt have been more pleasant as Taylor walked at a leisurly pace down to the lakefront, a journal tucked under her arm. Spring had finally come out and Taylor breathed in the fresh air that swept a cool breeze over her face as the sun shined down in contrast. Reaching the lakefront, Taylor glanced out over the peaceful waters. Noticing a small splash in the distance, which could have been the squid or a mermaid.
She took a seat under her favourite oak tree by the water and brought the book up to lean it on her knees. A mumbled unlocking spell had it clicking open to reveal previous entries, skimming to a fresh page, Taylor began writing, about everything really. She still worried about her Mother, yes, but after Hollies idea to keep a journal, she had let it not worry her as much. She had a diary at home, but keeping one at Hogwarts felt a little unsafe to her. After a trip to library and one locking charm learnt later, she now felt it alright to have one.
She wrote of her meeting with Scorpius in the Dungeons, how Sam had lost Jenna, how that boy had died, when she went to the hospital after the events in the forest and how she was still a little concerned about her Mother. Continuing to write, it soothed her. That and the gentle breeze, made the lazy afternoon a good one.
