Satsuke Nakamura had lots of things on his mind. He had not expected his parents would order him home so suddenly. He had not been prepared to be shoved into his parents arms once off of the plane. Satsuke was scared all summer. He was scared of being punished for avoiding home. He had expected punishment for not telling his family about being a wizard. He had not been able to see his sister. Hani had not even know his parents had dragged him back home. His summer had been miserable. His parents rambled on and on about how Satsuke being a wizard was a blessing to the family and the gang. When Satsuke broke it to his family that he was not able to use magic out of school they got angry. He was locked in his room for two days when he refused to tell his parents when he was going to be able to use magic freely. He hated his room. It only had a bed and a desk. The tapestry was peeling off of the walls and he did not even have a closet. His parents kept his clothes. It was so he would not try and run away from home. Hani had done that many times when she was still living with their parents. Now, only Satsuke was left. His parents were too old to try and have more obedient children. Satsuke sat down on the ground. He was so miserable. He had been able to avoid his parents for six years, and now he was back in the place he hated so much. Satsuke's happy go-lucky personality was completely gone. He was able to fake it, but all his happiness was suck out of him. He used to love hanging out in the Hufflepuff common room, but all the smiles and laughter he heard made him sick to his stomach. He pulled his legs up to his chest. He rested his chin on his knees. He had been taught not to cry. He had been taught not to let emotions show, but he was not able to hold in all the emotions back. That would kill him. He could only lean on one person when he was like this. Satsuke wondered where Heath could be. Satsuke was not keeping track of time, but in his head Heath was very late meeting him here.

Heath James had a very good summer. His cousin, Vincent, had not been able to bother him or ruin his mood all summer. Heath felt proud that he had become much more mature than his 'loving' cousin. Luvesha sure was happy that Heath was back home, and she hated to see him leave again. His sister was like a mother to him. He treated her with respect, and he did not lie to her. He may not tell her things, but that was not lying. That was just withholding unnecessary information. She did not need to know all of the things Epiphany had taught him. He knew his sister would definitely not let her go back to Hogwarts if he told her about Epiphany. He thought the girl was a genius. Luvesha would have thought she was insane. Heath had written Satsuke a few times, but he had gotten no replies. He wondered what was going on with his 'boyfriend'. He was totally in the dark on what Satsuke's summer, break or whatever he wanted to call it. This had worried him. Heath cared about Satsuke deeply. He did not like not hearing from him. Satsuke was his only friend. Satsuke was the one he leaned on and vice-versa. He walked out to the Cliffs. Satsuke had sent him a letter saying he wanted to meet him there tonight. He hoped Satsuke did not have plans on pushing him off the Cliffs for sending him too many letters. Satsuke was very unpredictable and happy, but sometimes he was angry and violent. Satsuke getting violent was rare, but Heath always made sure he never made his love too angry. He loved life. He did not want Satsuke to kill him. Heath saw Satsuke's red hair and he smiled. He walked up behind his friend. "What's up, love?" he said and sat next to his friend. He did not look well at all.

Satsuke turned his head so he could look at Heath. He had not seen his best friend all summer. He hoped Heath could understand why he had not responded to any of his letters. His parents had burned all of the letters he was sent by friends. Heath was not the only one who got unanswered letter. He scooted closer to Heath and wrapped his arms around his abdomen. Satsuke laid his head on Heath's chest. He and Heath had a close relationship. Satsuke was probably to only one allowed to make physical contact with Heath. Satsuke had gained Heath's trust. The two pretended to be something more, but they were simply just best friends. Satsuke cared about Heath, and Heath cared about Satsuke. That was how it went. The two were like brothers. They would never actually develop lovey-dovey feelings for each other. It was not impossible, but Satsuke was not interested in any kind of love at the moment. He was only twelve. What could he possibly offer a girl? He had not money and he was still dependent on his parents or guardian for food, transportation and more. How could he possibly off someone love? He felt to miserable to think about such a happy emotion. "I'm sorry for not returning your letters, love. My parents burned any mail I got." he told Heath and hugged him a little tighter. He got scared thinking about his parents. All the abuse and pain they put hi through. It had scarred him. Thinking about what his future had in store for him was scary. Satsuke held like misery was holding him hostage in a corner. Being sad all the time just made him want to stay in his dorm and never leave.

Heath was still not used to being touched, so he flinched when Satsuke wrapped his arms around him. Satsuke was one of the very few people that were allowed to touch him. Satsuke had a very gentle touch, so Heath did not need to be scared his friend would hurt him, unprovoked at least. Heath placed an arm over Satsuke's shoulder. He used his other arm to keep himself propped up. His love looked very sad. Satsuke gave off a very gloomy aura. It was an aura Heath was not used to when around Satsuke. Heath nearly jumped up when Satsuke mentioned his parents. Now he knew why Satsuke was so sad and gloomy. Heath knew how horrible Satsuke's parents were to him. He could only imagine what Satsuke how Satsuke was feeling. He managed to stay away from his parents for six years, and now he was back with them. It made Heath feel very sad, but Satsuke did not need sympathy right now. He needed company. "I am so sorry, Satsuke. When school is out this year you can stay with me, okay?" he told him and pulled Satsuke closer.
