Ailsa Vacarius was not happy. She was actually incredibly upset. Mostly because her arm was really sore. She had waves of pain rolling from it. And it was not pleasant. She couldn't believe how much pain it was actually causing her currently. Pain she would much rather not be able to feel, or really have to even deal with. She glanced round at Archie and frowned at him. He was asking her if she was okay. No, she wasn't okay, she'd just fallen down a flight of stairs because of him. "No" she said, though the anger she felt didn't come across in her voice. She didn't seem as annoyed as she really was. She kept her arm close to her chest as she pushed herself up off the floor. It was tricky, because with the fall, she felt a little dizzy. She felt weak, and the pain in her arm was just continuing. So much so, that she was desperately trying to stop her eyes from watering. She couldn't actually cry in front of Archie. Unhappily, she made her way over to the other boy, "You?" she asked him, before extending her good arm to him, so that he would take it, and together they would go to the hospital wing.

"This is your fault" She muttered as she put herself beside him, putting one of his arms around her shoulders, and then putting an arm around his waist, her good arm obviously. Where Ailsa just had a clearly broken arm, this boy was so much more out of it. He seemed to have a lot of trouble focusing. The boy was not heavy, not at all, but she was also not that strong, and she felt weak and shaky from the fall. But, she pushed on slowly. "Come on Archie, work with me here" she muttered, this wasn't simple, but she could tell, where she had really just broken her arm, he had hit his head. Ailsa's breath was slightly more staggered as she help him, and pushed through the pain she felt. Finally, the hospital wing came into sight, and Ailsa felt herself physically sigh in relief. Tears were once again pooling in her eyes, this was difficult and her arm felt like it was on fire. She wished that she could've just left Archie, that she wouldn't have to help him, but she couldn't have done that. She didn't like Archie, sure, but she wouldn't leave him. She wasn't that heartless. Unable to really turn much, Ailsa pushed the door open with her shoulder. Brushing her arm painfully against it. "Hello?" she called into the room, unsure how this really worked. The room was empty, mostly from what she could tell. She lead Archie over to one of the bed and pushed him slightly into sitting. "This is all your fault, and I'm having to deal with it" she muttered, removing herself from beside him, and letting her gaze move up to his face.

"Can I get some help here please" She reluctantly wandered away from him, to try to find a nurse who would help them. She didn't like Archie, she knew that he didn't like her but the pain in her anger made her anger much less pronounced. She didn't want Archie to be too badly hurt. She doubted he had meant to push her down the stairs. In any case, she wanted a nurse out her to help deal with there injuries. So that Ailsa could leave, and so that things could go back to them annoying each other, rather than Ailsa having to help him.

Juno was in a mixed outfit when a young girl called for help. Working in the hospital wing was fairly quiet and Juno rarely had to do anything, mostly students came in here after (and sometimes before) a Quidditch match. She hurriedly pulled on a nurse's apron as she walked out of the matron's office.

Juno turned and found a young girl standing near her, and a boy near the door. The girl was holing her arm and it was quite obvious something was wrong there. "Hi I'm Nurse Martin, but feel free to call me Juno. Now could you tell me what happened to you and your friend?" She led the girl and the boy towards two beds next to each other for them to sit.

Archie was thankful the violent thud of his heart was loud enough to keep his consciousness intact. He was still ultimately in shock over the fall, though tried to exert his brain to focus so he could return to normal. His many attempts to hone his vision towards the surroundings and his Gryffindor rival failed though he focused enough to register her movement. The dizziness only worsened as his surroundings changed and she heaved herself from the floor and stumbled towards his body. Immediately his instincts yelled at him to move from her line of sight, to get away from her as quickly as he could but he remained fixed to the floor. While his body refused to co-operate to his impaired vision he only grew more angry at himself. He was fit, always able to overcome physical obstacles without difficulty. Why couldn't he move now? Archie's delayed reaction to her offered hand only furthered his internal frustration, but knowing he had no option but to accept her help forced him to comply. For a fleeting moment his ego was torn in two but the moment was long enough for him to notice the sting.

Archie often upheld a strong, unyielding appearance to seem superior, but it was within the unbalanced stare of disorientation the facade he usually drew upon crumbled away. As he reluctantly let himself be dragged upwards and into movement he endeavored to get his bearings and find control before the pair began to stumble towards the hospital wing. Archie attempted to keep his weight from crushing the other Gryffindor and through his efforts managed to walk although his unexpectedly heavy limbs hindered a drag to his step. "I am working." He responded, voice softer than he intended through the ever growing frustration at his inability to move normally. He was honestly trying to hold himself up on his own but found himself unable without the girl's shoulders as a safety net. "You're the one not trying." Even after injury he tried to be sarcastic, disregarding any possibility the girl holding him up could intentionally drop him if he pushed her buttons hard enough. Surely, her effort to drag him alongside her to the hospital wing was sign enough leaving him wasn't an option. Pushing boundaries wasn't a smart idea but in all his confusion Archie's regular amount of stupid only doubled in extent.

An unusual feeling arrived in the pit of his stomach when he blinked and suddenly found his body sat on a bed. The fuzzy frame to his thoughts and state of consciousness gradually dissolving away urged him to go to sleep, but he knew if he allowed his eyes to fall shut even for a second he'd be out cold. If anything he needed to stay awake, even barely so he could make sure neither he or his housemate were in serious danger. Falling down stairs could end up a mere clumsy memory or cause serious harm. He hoped today's fall didn't match the latter and they'd leave this place soon, but without the presence of a nurse two injured first years were helpless in knowing their fate. Further fighting the urge to sleep, Archie attempted to make himself more comfortable by turning and curling up on the bed. Probably not a good idea, though once a nurse finally arrived to cure their situation an attempt to find comfort suddenly made sense. Not knowing what to say Archie ignored the nurse and left the responsibility of talking to his housemate. Within his disorientated state, talking for more than a few sentences seemed impossible.

As she had been helping Archie to the hospital wing since he was in no state to take himself, while she had been speaking under her breath, she ignored him what he'd been saying. Feeling that was best if he wanted to avoid her just dropping him. She couldn't do that, not really, this stupid boy was hurt, and she couldn't just leave him lying on one of the corridors. Instead she just helped him. Hoping that they would forget about this whole incident when everything was all better. Ailsa had left Archie on one of the beds and wiped away the tears which had gathered in her eyes, she had looked for a nurse. It had been no easy task carrying him, he was not a small boy that much was certain. She was a little worried about him, admittedly, he seemed really out of it, and while she disliked this boy a lot she didn't like seeing that in the slightest. It was strange, it wasn't something she liked at all, something she would've disliked even more in someone she actually liked. After leaving him on the bed, Ailsa had called out for a nurse. Or a doctor even, just someone who could help them. Since they really did need it. She knew what was wrong with her, it was pretty obvious, but she didn't know what was wrong with Archie or how to deal with her. Finally, as she stood waiting a little away from where she'd left that annoying boy a nurse appeared. The nurse seemed incredibly young. Ailsa worried about if this woman would even be able to help her. Did she knew what she was doing? Had she been properly trained. Ailsa was lead back to where she'd left Archie and made to sit on the bed facing his. Ailsa could see as her eyes glanced over the boy that he was having trouble staying awake. Wasn't that a bad thing. The young Gryffindor felt like bursting into tears over all this. Her arm was throbbing painfully, she didn't know what to do. It was just horrible.

However despite all of that, she didn't want to show weakness. Ailsa knew couldn't. she had to be better than that. She couldn't be the one to be weak. Even if it seemed like the annoying boy was more out of it than she was, she didn't want to give him any satisfaction. Ailsa's thoughts were interrupted by the nurse as she asked what had happened to them. Ailsa paused, she froze up slightly. Now, she wasn't sure what to say about it. It wasn't like she could actually say what had happened. It would be silly, they'd both be at fault. Ailsa had to come up with something fast, she held her broken arm close against her chest and looked down at the ground in front of the woman. "I don't know, it happened pretty fast. We were walking back to the common room after flying, and I guess either he or I tripped on the stairs and dragged the other down" she wasn't exactly telling the truth but it was not far off. it was in part the truth, and in others a little bit false. Just that Ailsa was a good enough liar to not be caught in it, and she figured that she probably looked really disorientated anyway. Not like Archie was, but enough. "Can you help him, his name's Archie, I think he hit his head" she told the nurse, motioning to the other bed where it wasn't clear if Archie was still awake. Ailsa's arm was in agony but he needed it more than she did. It felt like the right thing to do in this situation, pass over the care to the one who needed it the most. "I'm alright, it's just my arm. Help him" she told the woman, hoping that she would listen to Ailsa and help Archie first.
