🌹 Rose Giving Third for a Seventh Year

Anisha still wasn't done at the Hufflepuff table, though she knew she had to hurry up before everyone left for their classes. Thankfully, she knew the next Hufflepuff by sight, she was a prefect and ran a club. Anisha headed over to her and tapped her shoulder. "Hey, Margo, I have a rose for you." She said with a smile.

Margo was starting to think she needed to go back to sitting with Cameron to get a break form all the roses. But she knew she should feel grateful that enough people bothered to send her a rose. She really was grateful and she loved her friends, it had just been a long day already and was going to be even longer still. She smiled as she was approached by a younger prefect and smiled. "Oh hi!" she said with a warm smile. "Thank you so much." she said and waited for her rose.

Anisha took the yellow rose for Margo out of her basket and handed it to her. "Here." She said, smiling. "Hope you enjoy it."

Margo gave the other girl a nod as she took the flower to see who this one was from. She flipped open the note and read it quickly. But as she got to the name at the end she felt a small flash of panic. Why hadn't she thought to send a rose to Ngawaiata? It was far too late to do anything about it now but she would have to make sure to thank the other girl for it later. It would be too little too late but it would be something.
