Laura's heart beat grew louder, more urgent, her pounding headache growing worse with each footstep tapping along the stone floor, echoing through the hallway. Her holiday had been less then interesting, a few perks here and there, but nothing important passed her by, and the Ravenclaw found herself stuck between her usual mess, and the demands of her seventh and final year at Hogwarts New Zealand. Laura hardly had anything going for her anymore, her and Isobel hardly even spoke, except when she hurled a few insults Laura's way, and her parents, although caring and kind, were silently prodding her into doing more in her seventh year. They were pressuring her into joining more clubs, getting better grades and overall, being the perfect daughter no teenager should set out to be. How was she supposed to fill expectations her rebellious twin sister had pushed so high? It seemed the world was crumbling away at her feet, and there was nothing she could do to stop it, no happy thought, and no escape. Her headache still pounding, the seventh year frowned at her feet. This was how the sixteen year old felt after returning from the holidays, alone and isolated, without a purpose. Throughout the year she would start to feel normal again, being around the company of her friends, having a little fun and a little break from all the work she had been doing, eventually all the happiness from being away from her family would dissolve into nothing, as she returned home in between semesters and at the end of the year.

The seventh year hoped that after graduation, she would leave and never come back, her love for San Diego was always outweighed by the loathing in her house, and leaving to start a better life in a new continent, no strings attached, no stress and most of all, no pressure would be pure bliss to the slim brunette. Thus far this so called bliss was too far out of reach to start clinging onto it just yet so in the meantime; Laura was going to spend the morning bundled up all warm and cosy within the student lounge, trying to get rid of her awful headache. She arrived early, the lounge empty, without another student in sight. A small smile pushed its way onto Laura’s pale features before she walked over to the window sill, sitting below it, almost out of sight, her legs crossed while she twiddled her thumbs, playing with the hollow silence as she inaudibly hummed to herself.

OOC: Outfit is here and bam there you go.

The last time Robbie and Laura had gotten together was a day that Robbie wouldn't find himself forgetting anytime soon. She had kissed him, and it had been his first kiss, and one of a degree that he didn't think anybody else would ever be able to compare too. Robbie hadn't seen her in a while though, and he would love to know where she'd gotten to. He knew that she was smart, a lot smarter then Robbie would ever be. But that was probably because she was a Ravenclaw, and Ravenclaw's were naturally smart, and Robbie just wasn't smart, period. But today Robbie was going to spend his day in the Student Lounge, headache tablets in his pocket which he had started carrying after his regularly occuring headaches which seemed to occur just all the time, and he definitely just hated it, but today he was going to try and ignore it and hopefully get some studying in for his final year at this place.

Walking into the student lounge, he saw something that definitely would put a dent in his plans to get some work in today; Laura. But it was a very welcome distraction. He hoped that she still remembered his name and that things wouldn't be awkward between him. He could feel his headache worsening, and he slipped a few tablets into his mouth and swallowed them. The pain slightly lessened. Walking over to Laura and slipping into place beside here, he smiled at her. "H-h-hey, Laura. R-remember me?" Robbie asked, feeling shy for absolutely no reason at all. He knew Laura, he loved Laura, so why was this all so difficult? He didn't know.

The pounding grew worse, even contained within the silent room, every gust of wind that tickled the window, every quiet scratch of leaves against the glass; every single noise which would otherwise calm the Ravenclaw down was causing her pain. The torturing mix of stress, dehydration and depression were finally kicking in after a week of nothingness, and kicking in at the worst time too, the only time where the sixteen year old had found a moment to relax within all her stress. Laura covered her ears with her hands, a failed attempt to block out the noises which felt deafening but were truly quiet. Laura grew so focused on stopping the noises ringing in her ears that the entrance of another didn't register in her racing mind until Robbie's familiar, yet distant warmth brushed against her shoulder. Laura looked up, a confused expression quickly crossing her features before she remembered he did in fact go to the same school as her. It had been a while, a few years to be more specific, since she had talked to Robbie, so although the situation of actually talking to the Hufflepuff wasn't new, Laura still felt a sense of bewilderment, intensified by her ghastly headache.

Laura's lips curved up into a smile at Robbie, nostalgic, yet relieved she had been approached by someone she knew, rather than a student she didn't know or a professor who would probably send her into the hospital wing for insanity. She sighed, running a hand through her hair before shifting closer to him, linking her arm with his as they sat on the floor below the window, the fireplace crackling quietly in the background. "Of course I remember you silly. How could I forget the sweet boy who shared my first kiss?" She exclaimed, her half joking, half serious tone attempting to lighten the low mood which always seemed to hang around the two when they were alone. The noise of the fireplace, paired with the other noises torturing her mind before still irritated Laura and made her headache even more unbearable, but she was able to ignore it for just a minute, so nobody could worry about her while she caught up with a friend, which is what she considered Robbie, at least. She still felt her gut tighten as he got closer to her, those lingering feelings finally making themselves obvious for the first time in years.

Robbie looked deep into Laura's eyes, sensing that there was something that was bugging her, but he couldn't be entirely sure what it was. He could tell it wasn't him, because he would know if he had been bugging her, because it was something that he just knew when it came to people. He had an effect on people that was so instantaneous he could just know instantly whether or not people wanted him to be around or whether or not he was being a pain. There was always something in the eyes of people when they were in an uncomfortable situation. She seemed like she was having a headache. Picking the tablets out of his pocket, he popped a couple into one of her hands. "They'll make the pain go away." Robbie said, smiling at her. He hoped that she trusted him, otherwise he could end up looking like some kind of crazed stalker guy who was trying to slip her some sleeping pills or something. I can't think like that, gotta be positive. Robbie thought, starting to feel a little bit crazy because he was talking to himself. That was never a good way to start off a day.

Robbie chuckled when she said that she did indeed remember him, and she remembered that it had been he with who she had shared her first kiss, and she had indeed been his first kiss, it had been one of the cutest moments he had ever experienced in his whole entire life, and something that he could never let himself forget, no matter what happened. One day he hoped he and Laura would be together for the whole world to know about, and he hoped that it would happen some day soon. He had so many hidden feelings for her, and he wanted to let her know exactly what they were and how much he actually really cared about her. Robbie wondered what went through her mind as she layed cuddled up next to him in front of the fire, he liked the feeling of being able to hold her in his arms. It made him feel safe, loved, and most of all, it made him feel like he belonged with someone else. Robbie smiled at Laura for what would have to be the millionth time, already. "So how's my favourite person in the whole entire world been since we were last together?"

Laura sighed, a small smile gracing her features as her mind again crossed over the thought of the Hufflepuff she just couldn't seem to escape, which had never been a bad thing. Her mind wandering before Robbie popped a couple of tablets into her hand, she smirked slightly, an eyebrow raised at the gesture. How did he know her headache was that bad, or the fact she had a headache at all? She appreciated Robbie's thoughtfulness in handing her the tablets; however she didn't need charity from someone, even if it was from a kind, trustworthy and amazing guy like Robbie was. So she temporarily refused the tablets, leaving the situation of taking them until later, once her and Robbie had talked for a little longer. Her headache would just have to wait until she wasn't distracted by the seventh year Hufflepuff guy sitting next to her. Robbie looked different, he looked more mature, and grown up since their encounter a few years ago, but somehow the change she had noticed in Robbie didn't make her feel any less close to him, in fact she felt like they had just talked the day before, no matter how far from reality that thought truly was. "Thanks." Laura said, a delayed reply to Robbie handing her the tablets, to help get rid of such a distressing headache.

She rubbed an eye, the itchy fatigue plaguing her from lack of sleep the night before starting to set in while the tapping rain against the window irritated her headache further. She knew why she had such a bad headache, because she was dehydrated, something which could be taken care of easier than with a few tablets, yet Laura had no intention of drinking anything, or eating for that matter. Her mind was too distracted on other things to bother thinking about nutrition. "I've been busy, too busy for a social life." Laura finally replied, her headache still pounding. But instead of taking the tablets like her common sense told her so; the brunette stood up and dusted herself off and moving closer to the fireplace, assuming Robbie would follow her. Laura sat down in front of the fire, hugging her knees before her softly spoken words filled the silence warded off by quiet crackling from the fireplace. "What have you been doing since we last saw each other?" She questioned the Hufflepuff, her smile fake, an attempt to ward off any suspicions Robbie may have had about her. Laura had never wanted other people to worry, so she lied through her teeth most days, to avoid further questions besides the regular how are you posed by her peers.

Robbie couldn't help but smile whenever he was with Laura, but it did make him frown a little bit when she wouldn't take the tablets that he had popped into her hands. It wasn't like he would try and poison or kill her, in fact he was sure that he wouldn't be able to go without her for an extended period of time. He already thought about her every day, she could occupy his mind for hours on end with no sense that she would be leaving even remotely soon. But he didn't mind, he loved just laying down on his bed and staring at the ceiling while thinking about Laura. He was falling for her, and he didn't have a care in the world about it. He could only hope that she felt exactly the same, or maybe she had more feelings then he did for her? He couldn't be sure. "Too busy for a social life, you say? That just sounds like a complete bore! You have to have fun little missy!" Robbie teased, hoping that she wouldn't take offence at all. "Well, I've been busy making sure that Quidditch goes off without a hitch and everyone's in the positions that they should be in. You should come to our next game and cheer us on!" Robbie said, beaming at her. He'd really love it if Laura would come and watch them.

Robbie had been playing one thing over in his mind for a couple of weeks now, and he knew that it would be something that he would want to ask Laura had they seen each other in the next couple of weeks or so, and it just so happened that they had the perfect opportunity now. Shuffling over next to her and wrapping his arms around her, he smiled. He didn't exactly know if he'd be able to get the words that he wanted to ask her out, though. "S-so, Laura.. I've been thinking.. I kinda really like you, and I have for a long time now.. and I was thinking maybe we could be more then friends n-now? Like.. boyfriend and girlfriend?" Robbie asked, biting his lip and awaiting her response. He was beginning to wonder if this had been a good idea after all.

Laura smiled, half genuinely at her fellow seventh year, it had been too long since Laura had managed to smile properly, stress from striving for perfection too far out of her reach had grown to be too stressful, even with her stable mind set, or the mind set she believed was stable, Laura still let the small things get to her. If somebody double took when she walked by, Laura assumed it was something bad, like they were judging her appearance, much like everything else. So for the Ravenclaw to manage at least a half genuine smile was a rare thing to see from the seventh year. However it was just something Robbie must have brought out in her, with a few short minutes of talking, and being around each other. Laura chewed the inside of her cheek as Robbie spoke, nodding in agreement when he suggested she tag along to Robbie's next Quidditch match. She needed anything and everything to keep herself busy, and going to one of Robbie's matches sounded like the perfect idea, being the reason Laura silently pledged to herself she would be in the stands the next time Robbie was playing for his team. His next words however, caused the Ravenclaw's jaw to drop.

She shook her head, in disbelief of the other seventh year's words. Did he really just ask her to be his girlfriend, or was her mind playing another horrible trick on her sense of reality? The brunette wasn't going to ask Robbie to repeat his last few words, as he seemed uncomfortable enough already without the need for Laura to ask him to elaborate, in any shape or form. So instead of asking the Hufflepuff to say anything more, Laura put on a masquerade. Looking more casual than the truly felt, in reply to Robbie, Laura shrugged. The half genuine smile now returning to her lips after leaving because of the silence since Robbie's question. "Why not?" She finally spoke, chuckling casually before drawing her attention onto the crackling fireplace. "You're certainly cute enough." She said next, playfully poking Robbie in the nose before sighing as she rested her head against his shoulder. It seemed unusual that they could now be classified as a couple, as Laura hardly had the time to think about boys, let alone date one. Although she would make an exception for Robbie, just to make him happy.

Robbie smiled shyly at Laura's response. He still had trouble believing that he had actually just asked a girl out, and to that extent, he couldn't believe that he had asked someone that looked like Laura out, and she had actually said yes? This must be Robbie's greatest day on earth, because everything definitely seemed to be going his way and he would never swap this day, or give up the memories that he had gained today. But he knew that, of course, the day was yet to end, and he could still be in for a nasty reality check. He had had days that had been amazing when they had started before, and continued to be amazing as they had progressed, but by the time he laid his head on his pillow to go to sleep, they were some of the worst days that he had ever experienced. He hated that, and he wouldn't be able to stand it if today ended up like all of those days. Robbie had his first girlfriend, and it was the person that he'd fallen in love with all of three years ago. He couldn't get over the fact that she wanted him back.

Robbie leaned his head over onto the top of her head as she rested her head on his shoulder, it was probably one of the cutest things that anyone had ever done with him, if not the cutest. Robbie didn't think he had ever been happier then when he had been with Laura, and he knew that there was nobody else in the whole word that would ever be able to make him smile as much as she did every single day that they were together. Robbie smiled at Laura again. "I hope I can make you as happy as you make me." Robbie said, pressing his lips to her temple.

Laura had no idea of how she was supposed to react to the situation, but her fake confident exterior seemed to be working enough. Before she knew it, Laura was analysing everything in her mind, everything leading up to this moment, and hopeful predictions of what would come next. But because she always found herself focused on things that weren't relationships, she had no idea of how to be in one. This would obviously make for problems in the future if her and Robbie managed to push past the shallow, and short lasting adolescent relationships many of their fellow students had been in, but Laura had quickly decided that she would just go with the flow, and see what happened, leaving everything up to chance. This was unlike the Ravenclaw, to let things happen without considering consequences in the process, and surely Laura would return to over thinking everything sooner or later, but for now, she didn't care. The seventh year was just going to live in the moment for as long as she could, even if her headache was still pounding. The tablets from earlier still in hand, Laura considered taken them, but dry swallowing pills always caused Laura to vomit. If only a drink of water was nearby.

She further ignored her wandering mind through the distraction of Robbie pressing his lips to her temple oh so gently. It caused her half genuine smile to widen further. Robbie just made her feel safe and happy, like her worries could go away in a flash if she willed them too. Everything was just so comfortable, and the warmth radiating from the fire place could almost let Laura dose off into a peaceful sleep, if it weren't for her irritating headache. "Well that shouldn't be too hard, right?" She replied, shrugging while her headache continued to pound. If worse did come to worse, she could just take the tablets, but it would be a while before Laura would resort to that. Robbie was a decent enough distraction as it was, so Laura could easily just think about her newly found boyfriend to help numb the pain.
