Laura's heart beat grew louder, more urgent, her pounding headache growing worse with each footstep tapping along the stone floor, echoing through the hallway. Her holiday had been less then interesting, a few perks here and there, but nothing important passed her by, and the Ravenclaw found herself stuck between her usual mess, and the demands of her seventh and final year at Hogwarts New Zealand. Laura hardly had anything going for her anymore, her and Isobel hardly even spoke, except when she hurled a few insults Laura's way, and her parents, although caring and kind, were silently prodding her into doing more in her seventh year. They were pressuring her into joining more clubs, getting better grades and overall, being the perfect daughter no teenager should set out to be. How was she supposed to fill expectations her rebellious twin sister had pushed so high? It seemed the world was crumbling away at her feet, and there was nothing she could do to stop it, no happy thought, and no escape. Her headache still pounding, the seventh year frowned at her feet. This was how the sixteen year old felt after returning from the holidays, alone and isolated, without a purpose. Throughout the year she would start to feel normal again, being around the company of her friends, having a little fun and a little break from all the work she had been doing, eventually all the happiness from being away from her family would dissolve into nothing, as she returned home in between semesters and at the end of the year.
The seventh year hoped that after graduation, she would leave and never come back, her love for San Diego was always outweighed by the loathing in her house, and leaving to start a better life in a new continent, no strings attached, no stress and most of all, no pressure would be pure bliss to the slim brunette. Thus far this so called bliss was too far out of reach to start clinging onto it just yet so in the meantime; Laura was going to spend the morning bundled up all warm and cosy within the student lounge, trying to get rid of her awful headache. She arrived early, the lounge empty, without another student in sight. A small smile pushed its way onto Lauras pale features before she walked over to the window sill, sitting below it, almost out of sight, her legs crossed while she twiddled her thumbs, playing with the hollow silence as she inaudibly hummed to herself.
OOC: Outfit is here and bam there you go.
