James was reading quietly in the library, since there was nowhere else to go where there wasn't noises all around you. The Gryffindor common room and the student lounge had too many people at the moment, and everywhere else was too boring. James's brother was sick today, so he had nobody to talk with. All his friends were either in their second year or in a different house and had lessons at the moment. So he just read. Maybe somebody would walk in eventually.
