Coffee. It was the elixir of life; forget about the whole philosopher's stone thing. The dark liquid was warm and delicious and it smelled fantastic. One sip could restore all of the energy lost during a bad day at the hospital. Really good coffee could make the whole week better, especially if that coffee was hazelnut flavored and full of cream. Mizelea sat at her usual table in the far corner, resting her head against the fading red-brown paint on the wall behind her. Her fingers traced patterns along the wooden tabletop as she looked out the window. It was typical London weather. People-watching was nearly as fun. Mizelea was used to being alone but today seems to be different as she was there staring at the random people outside the window. She fidgeted in her chair, then looked at her watch. 11:57.

The hot coffee made her the knots in her stomach eased. Mizelea did not know why she was out in London at the moment. May be she wanted some coffee or maybe she wanted to meet some new friends rather than her classmates. The day was still young and she wanted something magical to happen, sadly there was no one insight at the moment. Finally she heard the bell rang and swiftly turned her head to see who it was. She needed something, someone anything.

Jessi was in london for the weekend. Teddy had sent him away for the week. He knew he had spent a lot of time with the kids in the past couple of months but he wasn't that bad, was he? The boy shook it off and looked around for a place to go. He had never been in London before in his life and was slightly lost. Just as he was about to give up, the sky erupted on him and it began to pour like nothing he had ever felt before.

Jessi ran, with his coat over his head, into the first place he could. It turned out to be a small coffee shop and he sighed. The smell of the beautiful drink alone was making him feel better. Jessi shook himself off, not unlike a dog, and smiled. He took out his wallet, thankfully undamaged by the rain, and ordered a cup of black coffee. Taking care of the kids had made him learn to appreciate the stuff.

Jessi turned to the shop and saw that it was now pretty packed. A lot of people had followed his lead and ran in here. There was no where to sit. He saw a girl sitting on her own and figured he would give it a shot, maybe the people in london weren't as rude as he had heard. He walked up to the table with his coffee and cleared his throat awkwardly. "Um, is there any way I could sit with you?"

Staring outside, wondering what she'll do when the rain would stop. Mizelea started to cross her legs, glancing back and forth at the people standing near the door waiting if someone could share them a seat. She was very glad to share one, the shop was full after all. Twirling her hair as she then turned her back, smelling the delightful aroma of her coffee. At the same time stroking the table as she was adoring the wood. She was alone, and sadly she forgot to bring her umbrella along with her. She gave a big sigh that turned into a deep breathing exercise.

She was a bit surprised when she then heard a voice of a man, not too old somehow asking her something. Mizelea then turned her head as well as her attention to person behind her. "Oh, Yes do join me." she said to boy. Smiling at him she started to stroke her hair and pushed it behind her shoulder. Mizelea loved coffee shops, from her experience she seems to have met new people each day that eventually tuned into a strong friendship. It was her break after all and the fact that she didn't expected to rain. She felt a bit shy as it was a boy who wanted to sit with her.
