With a deep breath, Scarlet Joussane entered the library quietly. She didn't think she ever had any hard time entering such a part of the school. In fact, sometimes, she found comfort within the room filled with books despite her lack of ability to fully comprehend most of them. She used to stay here to read leisurely in fact, and most of the time, she spent her time here to study and to do her homework. But over the course of two years, she had barely been alone whenever she entered these doors. And right now, it just felt so lonely entering them alone. This was one of those times that she wished he still considered her as her friend, and not like this when he can barely stand to look at her. She had been coming out of her shell, she was making great progress, but when he started to ignore her, it was like she just wanted to throw away all of that. Like how he seemed to throw away their friendship. And so, she reverted back to her quiet self, and even went back a couple of paces. She never interacted with anyone else except when needed. She sat at the very back of class. And if she knew that joining quidditch wouldn't have had any effect, she wouldn't have tried out. And if she knew she'd be feeling this lonely, she would have never entered the library again.
The young Hufflepuff had gone straight to the Care of Magical Creatures section though she knew not why. It was her feet that mostly decided where to go. She had been stupid though. Why did she go there? That was probably one of the classes that she and Jake had a lot of fond memories of. Kind of not hard to have them considering she had been dragged countless times to a class she wasn't a part of until the professor had just decided that she be part of it because of her frequent attendance. The young girl sighed. She was a hopeless case. She wanted to chase away the loneliness, but here she was, holding on to it. Deciding that she would not waste her time standing around, she scanned the shelves for a book that she would read and her eye caught one, though she doubted she'll reach it. She had to try though. Scar stood on her tiptoes and reached for the book as best as she could while holding on to the shelves. Though of course, she was absolutely on bad terms with fate for as she reached the book, she had pulled several of them down with it along with countless dust and pushed the other books on the shelves forward, causing a lot of other books to fall down to the next aisle with several loud thuds. She had really done it now.
