Gabriella was back on Hogwarts and she didn't knew what she had to think of it. At home things were intense, but that gave her more pressure than ever. Gabriella didn't want her father to become angry at her too and react it on her. Now it was Lauren, and Gabriella didn't liked that. But she didn't dared to go against her father. For Gabriella it was clear what she needed to do, but she could not forget the image inside of her mind. She felt frozen and powerless. Gabriella didn't had the best relationship with her sister, but she didn't hated her. They were just really different and that was sometimes hard. Gabriella just couldn't understand her. But seeing her being hurt by her parents was a image Gabriella couldn't put out of her mind. She had been crying all evening, and asked herself if she had became prefect if this wouldn't all happend. So for now it was better to be at school than at home. But Gabriella just knew she had to score high grades, better than ever if she wanted to please her father especially. She had to make up for the fact that she wasn't chosen as prefect. And also she had a big secret to keep now. Her parents wanted to keep up the good family name, but if this ever came out that was all gone. Gabriella didn't knew what to say to Lauren. Gabriella had stayed with her in the train to Hogwarts, instead of walking away. But all the road long it was silent. But when Lauren walked off to her friends, it seemed like nothing happend over the break. And Lauren smiled bright to her friends and Gabriella almost buyed it. She was a good actress it seemed. Lauren just wanted to pretend that things were normal it seemed and that was exactly what her parents had wanted of them. Gabriella would not go against that. What did she had to do?
The blonde wanted some distraction and needed to focus on her study, to prepare well for classes. The blonde would meet up with Marcos in the library, a place where she often was. Marcos became quidditch co captain and she kind of thought that was something good for him. He had made a title and Gabriella was happy for him. She was not a big fan of quidditch, but watching Marcos playing was not so bad at all. And he kind of could make anything nice. Gabriella thought that it didn't mattered what it was, if he was there it was fine. She couldn't wait to see him again. Gabriella hoped that he wouldn't notice anything at her, and she was gonna do her very best to act normal. But when was it ever normal with them? They were just starting to hang out again, and Gabriella was happy with that. She didn't want this situation ruin it all again. The blonde found a table in the front and claimed the whole table with many books and waited for Marcos to join her.
