Neita made her way up the stairs to the second floor of her family house, she paused in front of her bedroom door she had just had a long day at work and was tired, before she could enter the room though she changed her mind and continued down the hall turning the corner and making her way into the linen room. At the back of the linen room there were steps to the attic, 'Neitas attic' where she and her mother had decided to hide all her magic stuff from her little brother. The attic was Neitas' sanctuary where she could finally be herself and she loved the room more than anywhere else around the house.
The thirteen year old made her way into the attic and pushed the door to close it. she sighed and collapsed onto an old sofa they had set up. She hated lying to her little brother, it meant she could never openly discuss magic with her mother of at her house at all, but Neita also knew he wouldn't take it well. When Timothy was eight he had seen a movie slash documentary on Voldermort, the death eaters andall the people they had killed. The movie created a huge fear of magic in Timothy and two years later he still freaked out at the slightest abnormality in anything.
Neita smiled as she heard Artemis hoot quietly outside the attic, she got up walked over to the window and let her in. As the owl perched on Neitas shoulder she removed the letter from her owls leg and pet her softly and gave her a treat before sitting back down to read the letter.
