Had you ever dreamed of a world, a world where men and women were free and equal? A world where, when you woke up in the morning, it was your decision whether or not you ate cereal or toast? A world where nobody told you how to live and how to do every little thing? A world where the human race was far more advance than the world of the animals? This world was upon us, at the grasp of our hands. That exact world where equality, moral justice and common reasonable laws protected each individual from one another. A world in which the simple human being had his liberties that couldn’t be taken away from him by another man thirst for power and greed. Marcus lived in that world, believed in it without any doubts. For him, that world was the perfect world; nobody needed anything other than their own honour and liberty. Governments always were going to exist, the human being needed people in power to make society advance but never should those people in power govern like so many others had done before them. Dictators were immoral and the concept to fear and abolish in the world. Such a world was at their grasp, the youth like Marcus simply had to put on their dirty clothes and go fight for that world. Marcus and the other students of the magic institutes around the world had powers; normal man couldn't counter with their guns. Magic was a force that needed to be used wisely to bring equality throughout the world. Yet magic had also been corrupted just like mankind normal weapons. Yet, the corruption that had targeted these weapons wasn't invincible. It took the youth, the human kind to realize this corruption, stand against it and gain victory over this corruption. For wise words, loyal man and reasonable ideologies that worked to make society a better place was incorruptible. History had proven that corruption never held victory over these men who stood strong and wise. Dictators, monarchies and tyrannies were taken off their thrones by the will and the work of wise men that didn't fall to corruption. It was these men that gave motivation to Marcus to continue their battle. For they had won important battles but the war was still ongoing. Corruption hadn't been defeated from this Earth. This corruption was still inside the human mind, inside those who were too weak to counter it and inside these exact walls where Marcus inhabited for a major part of the year, corruption was present.

Whether he looked left or right Marcus could find at least one student who had been corrupted by the thirst of power, by the want to control everyone and that exact student was probably ready to fight against liberty and the traditions settled by the revolutionist of the French Revolution of 1789, of the American Independence and every other conflicts or meetings that had brought democracy and equality to life throughout the world. The last weapon that was out of the grasp of these corrupted souls was the righteous words and the wise words that the liberty and equality speech held. The world had changed yet the struggle stayed the same. In his everyday encounters, he could see the struggle between the thirst of power and the thirst for the righteous. As he sat in the dining hall of Durmstrang, reading some history books about events that took place years before he was even conceived, Marcus couldn't help but wished he had been part of those events. He knew they weren't rose events that the men had lived through troublesome events, had seen their friends and family be killed out in the streets but for some reason even after knowing all of these facts. A certain flame in his heart still danced through the night, wishing for a chance to stand up like these men had done for liberty, equality and justice. Sadly though, that dream was far away, Marcus was stuck in the dining hall patiently waiting for the day to end, he had one class remaining in his day but it wasn't beginning for another hour or so. His concentration lost in his thoughts as he stared down at his book, not realizing the movement of other people around him. Some sitting down close by while others picking up their things and leaving.
