The O.W.L's were slowly creeping up on the Gryffindor Fifth Year and she had so much work to do. She felt relatively confident on a couple of subjects but she already dreaded the exams of others like Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts. Those subjects would take extra study and they were what Maddie was determined to study this afternoon. She walked into the Library and sat herself down at an empty table and emptied her school bag. She lay her Charms textbook out before her and flicked through her notes where she had highlighted the bits that she was having the most trouble with. She sighed and put down her notes, this was going to be a long afternoon so it was a good thing that Maddie had come prepared with snacks to get her through the long study session. She broke a piece of cookie and put it into her mouth while she thought about what she was going to attempt first.

Exams were close and Amy was secretly freaking out, not necessarily because they were exams but because she just felt so behind in most of her classes. She might have been exaggerating but the fifth year was feeling a little overwhelmed with everything. It was how she found herself walking in the direction of the Library that day, with a pile of school books in her arms. She entered and noticed there were already a few of the older students with their heads bent down in concentration. That was life these days. She sat down and soon after her Astronomy textbook was open. She'd decided to start with that one as she found it one of the easiest to work through. Amy thought she heard a sigh and a loud flipping of pages. It began to annoy her a little, so the fifth year turned around in her seat and was about to say something when the person she was about to tell off for being so loud in a library was only her friend, Maddie. "Mads!" Amy exclaimed, getting up and approaching the brunette to greet her and give her a hug. "What a coincidence," she laughed.</SIZE>
