A set of pale eyes look through screen holes from the latest mask he bought. It was another animal kind added to his collection of many. This particular one was designed with a sinister smile and what looks like rabbit ears plastered on freakishly to go along with the overall theme of the mask. He likes this one very much. He's considering taking it to school with him in September. Rye West cocked his head to the side like a muggle dog would do while he rests on a boulder crouching down. And like a dog, he's instructed to keep a watchful eye on his sisters. He's the only boy out of three. Typically, that meant he oblige to protect his sisters should trouble come their way. If not, no more masks for him. Unfairly, he stuck on the boulder resembling a gargoyle statue or crazed rabbit watching over his sisters ongoing. You make your pick what he looks like, no one's opinion really didn't matter to him. As long as everyone kept their distance and avoided him, he was perfectly content knees bending on that big rock.

@Saoirse Smith

Saoirse was in a bit of a tizzy. She didn't know if she wanted to be going to this New Zealand school. She'd heard a bit about it from her family, but, it all seemed so silly to her. After all, she didn't see why she would go. She was staying with relatives at the moment, trying to see if she could get a bit of a feel for everything, but, she just didn't know. After all, it wasn't like she understood anyone here, they all had strange accents that she had trouble grasping. It was odd. Even her relatives had strange accents and spoke funny. Her Aunt moved on ahead as they walked around, and Saoirse was fairly content to stay way back for the time being, until she spotted the strangest thing. There was a boy, well, she thought it was a boy, in a strange mask. She was curious what he was doing because she'd never seen it before and so she left the safety confines of her Aunt's slipstream and headed on over to the rock he was perched on. She looked up at him curiously, not sure she quite understood him. She looked out in the direction he appeared to be looking, but couldn't tell who or what he might've been spying. "Are ye watching fer creepers, boy?" She asked, looking up at him with a hand over her eyes to shield from the sun. "Is this a bit of a pastime down here, is it?"

Rye momentarily blinked his eyes rapidly behind the mask he wore in the direction of the new person that decided to approach him that day. Wasn’t he scary looking? Did the freakish, sinister mask not frighten the girl? He held still like the rock he was perched on. The young boy changed the position of the head to the other side. Rye stretched out his long limbs, his long fingers in a very eccentric fashion. Like aliens from another planet, Rye weirdly wiggle his digits. He then begins to growl, clenching his teeth and making uncanny sounds coming from behind the mask. It’s his attempts to spook the girl or whatever he thought he could accomplish by acting strange and unusual. “Watching for creepers? I am one,” the boy growls, picking up an unfamiliar accent. He may be curious where she hails from if he wasn’t so entratin in scaring her away. “And you’re disturbing my creep watching time,” the boy growls, jumping down from the rock. Rye lands with his knees bent and his hands on the gravel ground beneath him. “State your purpose here or go away! You’ve been warned,” Rye snarls.

Saoirse watched the boy curiously. She couldn't believe, first time actually outside and mingling with people, filth probably, and she runs into a curiousity. She had no knowledge of the boy of course, but she thought in interesting, especially if he were her age and possibly going to the school. He seemed just the right amount of weird for her. Apparently, by his own admission, this boy was one of the very creepers he was watching for. Saoirse wasn't sure what that meant exactly, but she was intrigued either way. He jumped off of the rock then and she had to step back to give him space to not land right on top of her. He raised his voice to her and Saoirse frowned, pointing her finger at him with an annoyed stance. "Don ye be using such a tone wi' me." She told him, tilting her head at him to make sure she knew he didn't scare her. "Ahm no so easily frightened as ye believe boy, ye'll no get me tae leave that way." She told him, moving one hand to her hip as she lowered her finger. State her purpose indeed. Ridiculous! "Ahm no ye mam, I cannae tell ye what tae do, but am no about tae let ye tell me what tae do either."

The Bristol native frowns behind the mask, the girl prove to be unwavering to his odd behavior. Rye stood upright, pulling his mask off so the girl can see the dullness in his eyes. Displaying the total opposite to his strange introduction. "What? What kind of accent is that?" Rye query with a monotone. Rye is talking to someone? Who is he talking to? The boy turns his attention towards his sisters. Apparently, they took notice of him and the girl exchanging of a few words. That automatically will shut him off, instantly. Rye pulls down on the rubber material, hiding behind his heinous mask once more. "You failed to state your purpose, off you go! Move along," Rye shoos the intruder away. He did not want his sisters thinking he was becoming friendly with the girl. That will give his parents something to talk about for days, and he just won't hear the end of it. He'll make friends on his own time, when he felt like making friends. He's not going to be like Cassiah and Hayzel, quick to make friends, quick to trust. That's the stupid way to make friends, that's the stupid way to get caught up with those unworthy of your friendship.
