Conan couldn't believe he was saying this, but he was absolutely glad to be back at school. The atmosphere at home was insane, to say the least. He hated to fact that he had to spend his entire break jumping in between his parents' homes. Things were still awkward between his parents, you could feel the tension whenever his parents were together. But Conan was glad to be back. He was happy to see his friends again and was glad he could get into some proper shell hunting. He wasn't able to go to the beach to look for shells as neither of his parents lived near a beach or lake like they used to. Which was a big bummer for Conan. The Ravenclaw walked along the shore of the lake as he looked around for shells to find, his shoebox of shells tucked underneath his arm as he had a look. He managed to find a few nice-looking ones which he was quite happy about.

Leah was feeling restless and she wasn't sure what to do about it. Her dorm wasn't safe because being around Anisha made her stomach do so many flips she thought she'd be sick. She also hadn't talked to Chase yet which felt so bizarre, but she refused to be the one to break the silence. After the stress of dealing with her mother's critical comments and her father's moods the whole break while traveling back and forth, being met with more problems at school made her skin itch. So now she was walking around the grounds hoping for a distraction and maybe enough distance from the castle would do her some good. When she spotted Conan by the lake she was more than relieved. "Hey!" she called out. "Need some help out there?!"

Conan had been busy looking under one of the rocks when he whipped his head around at the familiar voice of a friend. He smiled happily at Leah. "Hey, Leah!" Conan called out happily, as he stood up from the rock he was just looking at. "If you want to! The more the merrier!" Conan said happily, glad to have someone help him as well as keep him company. The boy had no luck so far at finding anything, even though he only had just started, but he was sure that maybe Leah had better luck at finding something than he did.
