Amanita may have only so many options when it came for getting the head boy back for his shameless display bullying her and Natsuko, but there were other ways to take someone down than the direct route. Revenge was a dish best served cold. And well researched.

She knocked on the Hogwarts Monthly door, pleased when she saw one of the editors was already in here; that had to be a good sign for the quality of the school paper.

"Hi, I'm Amanita, and I have a tip for you. For an article," she said, striding over to Miranda, her grin just edging towards manic but she couldn't help it. If this worked, the whole school would know what sort of leader Teddy Pirrip was. "It's about the head boy," Amanita added, solemnly.

It wasn't that often that people came by the Hogwarts Monthly office, which made it the perfect place to get a bit of quiet every now and then. This year was bound to be a busy one, and Miranda was going to have to spend more time in the offices getting special editions of the paper together. At least she didn't have NEWTs until next year. She looked up from an old issue she was finding quotes from to see a young girl, one of the first years she thought. There was something familiar about her, perhaps she was related to one of the professors. She did remember hearing the names Castillo and Josephs in the sorting, which had stuck out. Though she had seen Hinemoa around a bit in the Ravenclaw common rooms over the years, so Castillo was perhaps more likely. If she wasn't just assuming, that was.

But that wasn't the important bit, the important bit was the fact that the young girl, Amanita, had come to her with a tip. Well, she thought. This could be interesting. If it was just a bit of gossip, she wasn't going to be averse to it, but she'd heard a few whisperings about the head boy going around. There was something in this, and Miranda grinned as she flipped to a fresh page of her notebook. "Hi Amanita, I'm Miranda. Have a seat! Would you like some water?" All the professors tended to offer tea, but Miranda was on a mission to drink more water and encourage the rest of the staff to do so too. She quickly grabbed a couple of cups anyway, and sat down, setting up her brand new dictation quill. It wasn't one she was allowed to use for classes, but it was invaluable for the paper. "Go right ahead, I'm listening."
