Orsino Antolini had rather enjoyed his time in New Zealand so far. He'd never have thought that on his first day of arriving back in the country he would find a good place to live for an indeterminate amount of time. He was happy that his so called "landlord" didn't mind that he couldn't give her a proper estimate of time. His dates and times kept changing with the weather. The longer it rained, the more times he had to push back the researching. He needed dry ground and not over turned soil. Then after it had rained he had to wait at least a week, but it usually rained again before he was able to reach the allocated length of time, pushing his dates back even further. It was an annoyance that tended to aggravate Orsino, but on the up side, he'd had more sleep in the last two or so months then he'd ever had in three years of working with Dragons. It was quite nice actually, if only sleeping more didn't seem to make him doubly more tired. He really just couldn't win. He figured his best bet was just to stay with the lack of sleep. At least he was getting stuff done before.
Orsino yawned for what felt like the millionth time that day. He had practically done nothing for his entire five hours of being awake and it was now lunch time. Actually it was passed lunch, but Orsino hadn't eaten, mostly because he'd been too busy doing nothing. It was a strange feeling, doing nothing. Yet there was nothing to be done about it. He'd finished all that needed to be done with the paperwork, now he only had to wait for the ground to clear up before he went outside to take some samples. Mea had been crawling around on the floor all day, attempting to stand sometimes, but not quite succeeding. Orsino was helping Galaxy around the place when she let him, but she pretty much hd a method for everything, so that didnt work so well, considering Orsino had his own method as well. In the end they had both agreed that he should just stay out of her way and try not to get the house destroyed or anything. Mostly, he had just been entertaining Mea. She was a little cutie and he liked hanging out with her. Though he would never admit it to anyone. Orsino looked down as Mea whined for attention and he found that she was pulling on the cuff of his pant leg. Reaching down to lift her up, Orsino scooted forward so he was half hanging off the lounge and placed the tiny child on his stomach. That would keep her entertained for a while at least.
