If one looked at the three girls sitting on the ground exchanging cards one would notice a number of strange things about them. For one all three of them where wearing highly elaborate cloaks. One had on an almost common black one where it not embroidered with silver thread along the edges and had a large silver skull on the back. The one sitting at her side facing her and the little one to her right had a yellow one with blue flame sleeves and a triangle with an eye in the center on the back of it. The littlest one seemed to be wearing Gryffendor colors, the cloak was all red with golden threading. The only thing that made it not the colors of the noble house was that it had the symbol of a flame in the middle of the back of it. Another strange thing was that the cards that they where all playing with did not seem to be Exploding Snap or even the chocolate frog trading cards. "Banshee, take twenty five damage." the whispery voice of the one in black said as it floated over the hustle and bustle of the Harbour. "Unfair I've only got ice shields on hand you can't nix me with death that way! Yelled the littlest child, she seemed to be no more than seven years old. The one in black only gave the young girl a look before she quieted. The one in yellow piped in. "You can't complain about taking damage from a spell that's not of your class. Not all of us can defend against everything. Just be grateful Saffron bansheed you instead of pulling out her vampire. That one is a nasty piece of work."

It was only when Saffron noticed that they where being watched that she made them all put their cards away and nodded them away. The girl in yellow took the hand of the girl in red and lead her off to where they where to meet Saffron's mother to go home. Saffron herself had some shopping to do so she was left reletivly on her own. She wondered what life was going to be like now that she no longer had adhear to the militant manor of her home. Saffron started to work her hand in wand movement seemingly absentmindedly as she looked around at the shops and wondered where she should stop first. If there was one thing that she was going to miss about where she came from was the enfasis on dueling. She had been taught since the age of three how to duel even though she hadn't been taught any of the actual spells. Since they had not known what her specialty in magic was going to be. That was before the insedent, before her family ended up in New Zealand, Saffron sighed. There was no use in crying over what could have been now. The only thing left to do was make the best of what was happening now. Her eyes fell on a bookstore and for the first time Saffron felt a smile slide on to her face.
