The Sorting Ceremony Y46

Usagi was glad no one made her put her rabbit away before sorting. She was in this big bright room filled with strangers of all ages who were there to watch her? She was nervous and the only comfort of home she had was the little stuffy. Her fingers stroked its ears as she stood amongst the students. As the speech began she stood on her tippiest of toes to try and see. She couldn't believe how many of the students were taller than her! Even if only by a little.

When her name was called out Usagi hesitated for just a moment. But there was no where she could escape to so she needed to be brave and face this. She sat on the stool and the had was placed on her head. She closed her eyes so she wouldn't have to see the sea of students in different house watching her. In fact she could only really focus on that thought, so much so she forgot to ask for the house she thought would be coolest.

"Don't worry, I won't have to keep you up here for long. Your nature is clear as day. There's nowhere better for you than Hufflepuff!"
