Wyatt's wife died on the surgery table and the doctors told him that no child was brought into the E.R. with the couple but he should expect the worst. After leaving the hospital Wyatt looked high and low for his son but could not find him anywhere and so after months of looking Wyatt abandon all hope and returned to the military.
