It was a beautiful day today and Elly hadn't drawn in a while. The last time was with her friend Sophie and that was inside their dorm. She wanted to go outside and find the perfect spot. Elly walked outside with her moleskin and pencil bag. This was the first time Elizabeth had some time to draw at Hogwarts.
Between quidditch and lessons she barely had anytime to draw anymore. She now found herself standing at the lakefront. It looked nice, but it wasn't the landscape she was going for. She walked further and finally spotted a spot surrounding by a cliffside. It was absolutely perfect and Elly walked up to it. She sat down close to the edge and started to draw. Although she had a good view the lighting wasn't that optimal. Elly decided to move a couple of meters over and start over. When she stood up and walked over the other spot she missed a rock that was sticking out of the cliff. Elly fell over the rock and banged her knees on the clifftop. Normal people would try to catch themselves with their arms, but Elly missed that ability completely. Her face hit almost hit the rocky top of the cliff. When she sat down she noticed that her knees were bleeding. When she touched her nose she felt it was scraped.
Elly didn't know what to do now, she fell a lot when she was a kid, but her dad always came to the rescue. He was an ER doctor after all, but her dad was way out of reach. There wouldn't be any signal, nor did her phone work here. Elly decided to just stay there and waited for the bleeding to stop. When she looked around she found her pencil bag to be in shambles. Some pencils were broken and that made Elly sad. She had worked really hard to be able to afford expensive pencils. The fact that are pencils were broken and her knee really started to hurt Elly started to sob. Goddammit, she was a weak little mortal sometimes.
