It was a beautiful day today and Elly hadn't drawn in a while. The last time was with her friend Sophie and that was inside their dorm. She wanted to go outside and find the perfect spot. Elly walked outside with her moleskin and pencil bag. This was the first time Elizabeth had some time to draw at Hogwarts.

Between quidditch and lessons she barely had anytime to draw anymore. She now found herself standing at the lakefront. It looked nice, but it wasn't the landscape she was going for. She walked further and finally spotted a spot surrounding by a cliffside. It was absolutely perfect and Elly walked up to it. She sat down close to the edge and started to draw. Although she had a good view the lighting wasn't that optimal. Elly decided to move a couple of meters over and start over. When she stood up and walked over the other spot she missed a rock that was sticking out of the cliff. Elly fell over the rock and banged her knees on the clifftop. Normal people would try to catch themselves with their arms, but Elly missed that ability completely. Her face hit almost hit the rocky top of the cliff. When she sat down she noticed that her knees were bleeding. When she touched her nose she felt it was scraped.

Elly didn't know what to do now, she fell a lot when she was a kid, but her dad always came to the rescue. He was an ER doctor after all, but her dad was way out of reach. There wouldn't be any signal, nor did her phone work here. Elly decided to just stay there and waited for the bleeding to stop. When she looked around she found her pencil bag to be in shambles. Some pencils were broken and that made Elly sad. She had worked really hard to be able to afford expensive pencils. The fact that are pencils were broken and her knee really started to hurt Elly started to sob. Goddammit, she was a weak little mortal sometimes.

If Espen was not throwing himself into various literature that interested him, or literature that is necessary to pass his courses; physical exercise is what kept the tall, sturdy built Slytherin busy during his free time. The weather was not too bad, it was not really that warm either but it was the perfect weather for Espen to get out there and go on a jog.

In nothing but a faded white hoodie, a pair of basketball shorts (which is a muggle sport) and some trainers on his feet he jogged towards the Lakefront. The slight hint of a breeze did him good, it allowed him to think while forgetting about his struggles and worries that slithered into his mind on a daily base. Deciding the Lakefront lacked the challenge he was looking for, to really put some energy in his exercise; he decided to head towards the Cliffs. Students were not allowed there, things were presumely dangerous out there but Espen had yet to recall an accident that had happened in the years he was at Hogwarts. Perhaps he chose to ignore it instead, merely chasing the challenge that he was looking for. Climbing onto rocks, getting over a passage that looked like you would end up slipping if you made a wrong step; Espen enjoyed himself thoroughly and could feel his muscles scream at him, prospecting soreness the next day.

But it did not remain safe; at least for someone else that Espen caught while he jogged by. She looked even younger than he was and if his eyes were not playing tricks on him: she was bleeding, that could mean bad stuff. Nevertheless, pride put aside and the hero that was somewhere hidden deep inside of him sprinted towards the girl that seemed like she needed help.

"Hey, hey-" Espen announced himself, a little out of breath, as he observingly bend over to check up on the girl, trying to see if the girl was okay apart from the wounds on her knees. "What's wrong?" Voice soothing, kind and careful as he carefully reached out to brush some of her hair out of her face. "Tell me what happened- I can help you, we'll figure this out." Perhaps a spell should do the trick, or at least clean her wounds before he would help her towards the Hospital Wing. He should eliminate infection immediately.

Irene was out in the castle with the headmistress as they took advantage of the beautiful day. The semester had started and with nothing much to do at the library, she was summoned to meet the older woman at the front of the Entrance Hall. Wondering what it was about, she left her quarters and made her way downstairs. She arrived at the said place first so she stood around waiting for Professor Alicastell. Students were out and about as well, greeting her as they passed by to which she also smiled in response. Looking at her footwear, she decided whether they would be appropriate for the walk outside with all those uneven grounds that they might go to. Taking out her wand, she summoned her ankle boots which were better than the heel pumps that she had on. Smiling in satisfaction as she looked up the grand staircase to see if the headmistress was already coming down.

Her banged knee still hurt and her tears were now ruining her clothes. That was only the added bonus of being a clumsy Ravenclaw. Suddenly a boy was right beside her, almost out of breath. He looked like he had been running which seemed way more dangerous than Elly her slow shuffling on these cliffs. Then again he probably didn't have her motion issues. Elly tried to be brave and a tiny smile appeared. A smile while tears fled from her eyes into her clothes. ''The stupid cliff attacked me'' Elly paused in between sobs ''I was trying to get to a different spot and suddenly there I was kissing the cliff.'' Elly wouldn't be Elly if she couldn't see the humour in it. Although she was hurt, it was still kind of ridiculous she fell from walking less than 60 meters.

''And if that wasn't bad enough, my pencils broke the ones that I worked so hard for'' Elly started to cry a bit harder. The pain was bad, but that wasn't what was making her sad. The pencils had been the first thing Elly had bought herself from her own earned gallions. She wasn't dying or anything, but the boy must have thought she was crazy since she was crying over broken wood.

''You must think I am crazy'' Elly tried to stop sobbing and wiped of her tears with her sleeve. Her clothes were already ruined from her mascara, blood and god knows what came from that cliff. She hoped the washer could get the blood out of her pants, but then again the hole was really noticeable.

Despite not having a clue whom she was, Espen felt a sense of responsibility wash over him; the voice in the back of his mind telling him to help her out, someway or another. Of course, he was never one to ignore his guts and he would not have been able to merely leave someone out here by themselves while they are in distress. She needed help and the indication of Espen's running, was enough to tell that he would assist her in whatever there was to help her with.

Nodding his head slowly, he tried to ignore her cries and sobs. Not that he was annoyed by them, but the blond could not really deal with people that were crying. Perhaps it had something to do with his own personal issues, that he did not want to dable into the sorrow of others. Not without knowing them, of course. "Sssh, easy there. There's nothing to worry about. You can still move, right
??</COLOR></FONT><FONT font="Georgia"><COLOR color="#000">" Awaiting an answer, the Slytherin student took out his wand from the inner pocket of the hoodie he was wearing. Never one to take anything for granted, he would always bring along his wand; even on Hogwarts' safe grounds. "The pencils are no problem-" Aiming his wand, he pronounced the charm that was required to recover the broken pieces back to one whole. "REPARO !!" Exclaiming the spell out loud, the pencils levitated shortly as they were reconnected with one another. Once the spell was completed, they slowly drifted back down on the ground where they had fallen. Looking brand new. "There, that's one worry gone." Espen said, a bright smile appearing on his features; there to reassure the distressed girl everything would be fine.

"You're not crazy, you only need some new trousers- because I'm not sure if I can turn that around with a spell.. Perhaps I can clean the wounds with one, to prevent an effection from accuring- we don't want you to have any unnecessary trips to the hospital wing apart from getting those wounds covered with a band aid." Trying to come up with the spell that was needed to clean up those wounds, Espen looked around if there was anyone around apart from the two of them. "...Either you are hopping onto my back, if your knees really hurt that much." And he did not want to see her fall, again. "Or I'm sticking around a little longer, while you do the thing you came here for in the first place." And then, he would of course help her back to the castle or the hospital wing if it would be necessary by then.

Though the Hogwarts faculty changed frequently, with each year seeming to require a new professor, librarian or nurse, Katherine did make an attempt to ensure the newer staff were settled in and comfortable in their roles, and content with what they were doing. More often than not however, the woman found herself feeling critical of how particular members of staff conducted themselves in the school, such as choosing to sleep in public spaces, for example. Thankfully she hadn't needed to have any words with the slothful Divination professor lately, though she doubted his energy in the castle had changed.

For a change, the Headmistress deviated from checking in with the professors and opted to meet with one of the librarians, of which they had a handful. Almost too many for one space in the castle, though the room and its shelves were seemingly endless, it may very well have been an impossible job for one person to keep track of on their own.

Descending the staircase dressed simply in her faculty robes, Katherine caught sight of the young librarian at its base and headed toward her, keeping a watchful eye on the students bustling in and out. It had been relatively quiet in terms of misbehaviour this year, which was a pleasant change from last, yet she could only wonder how long it would continue. "Good afternoon, Irene." The woman greeted, taking her eyes off the students nearby to focus her attention on the librarian. "I hope you don't mind the walk outside today." It was a beautiful day outside, though the Headmistress' choice of walking through the grounds was much less to enjoy the weather, and more so to patrol the area for students thinking they could leave their boundaries.

Adjusting the ankle boots that Irene had summoned, she smiled as they fit perfectly. She then waved her wand, transfiguring her heel pumps into bangles that she could wear until she went back to her quarters. There were even students who saw her did it and gasped in amazement. The librarian just smiled at them in response.

She was just placing her wand back into her sleeve when she noticed the headmistress coming down the staircase. While she was calm as she waited for the woman to reach her,Irene still noticed the students became refined unlike before when they were rowdy selves.Prof. Alicastell greeted to her to which she replied with a polite smile. "Good afternoon,Headmistress."When she was informed that they would be walking outside,Irene thanked herself silently for her wise choice with her shoes."Of course not, professor. Shall we then?",she asked as she stepped to the side, allowing the headmistress to go first.
