How long had it been since Henri had a break from work, from life, from anything that worked to make him stressed. The life of a model was not exactly ideal and sometimes Henri found himself wondering if he should just give it all up and move back home. Of course his mother would be a little disappointed, but she would always support him. He'd not seen his best friend in so long he had to wonder if the little guy was still alive. He was sure that Kellin was fine, but it had been so long since he'd seen him. Though he had heard that there was a professor up at the school, a part goblin named Tuuri, he knew that the guy was quite old, so it had to be Kellin's father. Arvo was a great man, Henri held a lot of fondness for the table-top father of Kellin growing up. They all lived together back in Kemi and he had to admit that even after nearly five years away, he felt attached to it, he always kept meaning to go back, but he'd never really had the time. Of course he kept in contact with his parents, but it was hard to actually get some time where he could go and visit for any decent length of time and so he just decided against going at all.

Henri had asked one of his model friends out to lunch and they sat across from each other, laughing as Henri reminded him that they probably should let up on the carbs. "I mean, you know what Julie said, if you so much as put on another kilo, she'd chucking us all into boot camp." Henri sipped his wine and grinned, leaning forward to whisper in his friends ear about the shoes the lady across the floor was wearing. Pink heels with a red dress was ridiculous, who would let anyone out whilst wearing something like that, it was kind of ridiculous. "What about the lady on the left, the one with the feathers?" Henri's companion snorted with laughter, quickly shoving a piece of bread into his mouth to try and cover the sound, it didn't work. Henri turned his eyes to another part of the room so as not to get caught looking and pulled at face. "Oh Merlin, did she see us, did she? Are those green robes? Seriously, oh wow, emerald is so out of fashion."

Jeremy Thorne had been running for almost an hour with a pair of headphones that had been magically enhanced to play the wizarding network. It was his favorite pastime these days, especially since he'd stopped meeting his co-workers for duels. The man didn't think he was going to run into Yehveniy there, but he wasn't going to take any chances. It wasn't a great breakup, though Jeremy had since moved on. He'd busied himself with work and exercise, and the occasional hang out with an old friend or two. The man had been avoiding a lot of things though, mostly his family. He still hadn't come out to his sister or his mother, so they were constantly hounding him about settling down with a nice witch and having children. It had really picked up recently because his sister had recently married an American wizard, a ministry worker at one of the schools there. So, Jeremy was doing what he could to avoid seeing them, though that didn't stop their messages via owl and patronus. The Healer had never known two more determined people. He feared that his mother was going to start trying to trick him into blind dates or slip him a love potion or something. He didn't put either past her.

Finally tiring after clocking a couple of miles, Jeremy found himself in the middle of the Harbour. He liked running by the water as it was the closest thing to reminding him of home. His other home. New Zealand had become home ages ago, but he still missed the quiet of his small New England wizarding town. Jeremy leaned against the railing by the water for a few moments, catching his breath and looking or at the ocean. After a moment, he pushed away and took the headphones off, stuffing them into his pocket. Now, it was time for food. After a run, Jeremy always felt like he could eat a hippogriff. Instead, he would settle for his favorite restaurant. Jeremy was already making plans for some takeaway and a good book to pass the rest of his day. Entering the restaurant, Jeremy spoke quickly to the hostess and then moved to the side to wait for his meal. Seeing an empty seat, Jeremy settled in to people watch while he waited.
