The next person

[Leslie Duboit]

Leslie walked along the first floor corridor with her arms crossed over her chest. Every now and then she looked over her shoulder. She didn't want to run into her sister again after what happened last time. She still had pain in her arm from where it had been broken. She still didn't know what to do. On the one hand, she didn't want to be attacked by Steph but on the other hand, she didn't want to get her expelled. Steph had once been a great sister but she had become friends with some Slytherins who hated Gryffindors and they had turned Steph against Leslie.
Leslie just hoped that Livia could do what she had promised. Steph might then go back to the way she was before she came to Hogwarts. They had fights but ever this bad.
Leslie wished she had more people to help her. She only had Immy and Izzy. She hardly talked to them though. She hardly talked to anyone. Books were her life. She spent most of her life in the library or in the dorm with a book. She wasn't a very outgoing person but she wanted that to change. The next person she saw, she was going to say hi to.

 

[Scorpius Knight]

Scorpius had just been in the Great Hall for lunch when he realized he was just poking his food around his plate and wasn't really all that hungry that day. He finally got up and decided to leave the hall and return to Ravenclaw tower to find something to do. Perhaps he'd read a book he found lying around the common room, he was bound to have a huge selection there, or go for a fly like usual. Scorpius shoved his hands into his black jeans as he walked slowly up the stairs, believing them to be deserted because he thought everyone would be at lunch.

Leslie walked onto the stairs and saw a boy coming her way. As he was the first person she saw, she had to speak to him. "Um...hi." She said it in a small voice because she was too shy to speak louder. "I'm Leslie." She held out her hand to shake his. She recognised him but she had probably just seen him walking round the school as he looked older than her.
