Michael wasn't sure where to find one of the Ravenclaw quidditch captains, but the library seemed like a good bet. Not having spent much time there himself, as it was a little too stuffy for him, he was astounded by how many books there were. And how silent it was. Wading through the aisles, he eventually saw a dark-haired girl at a nearby table. "MINNIE?" the Gryffindor whispered rather loudly, letting spit fly about three feet in front of him. @Minnie Calida

Minnie was immediately startled by the whisper shout of her name. She looked up and spotted a boy, someone who was new ish to the school and not someone she had interacted before. She resisted the urge to tell him to keep it down. "I'm Minnie," she told him, mostly looking back at her books, she wasn't in the library to not be revising.

Michael was glad he had found his target and started doing somersaults like he was in a spy movie, being careful not to bend the rose in his hand. When he arrived at the table, he quickly placed the rose on top, making quite a bit more ruckus and then scurried away off into the bookshelves.

Hey Minnie
i hope ur doin good. i worry bout u somtimes. if u ever need anything im only an owl away ok fr.
always in ur corner (xcept on the quidditch pitch lol)
blake

Minnie watched the boy with fascination and then looked to the rose he had left before realising the boy was already gone before she could thank him. She looked at the yellow rose and then took the note. She opened it and was a little surprised. She hadn't sent one to Blake, but she smiled at it. She wanted to find him and assure him that she was fine, that he didn't need to worry but all she could think about then was the christmas at school, of her worries about going home at the next break, of the fact she was sure her parents hadn't even realised she wasn't there. She was keeping busy, keeping her mind off it by having so much to do, by just saying she was fine. But she wasn't really. She felt tears in her eyes but she tried to force them away. She folded over the note and moved the rose so she could just continue working, no matter if her sight remained a little blurry.
