Klaus walked out of the Gryffindor common room into the corridor. He had a few hours before curfew. He had agreed to meet with his sister. He had been very surprised when he was placed in Gryffindor. He had expected Hufflepuff like his sister, but apparently he was Gryffindor material. Klaus could understand a little of why he was put into Gryffindor. He had racked up a lot of courage to talk to Kennedy about him leaving to Hogwarts New Zealand. It was a different environment for him. There were many more people. He had tons of people trying to talk to him. Klaus had a hard time keeping conversation. He was not used to listening to the way others spoke, and since he learned French it took him awhile to respond to someone. To him it was worth it though. He did feel horrible for leaving his twin with an emotionally unstable mother, but he did not want to sacrifice his teenage years just so he could stay by Kennedy's side. He was supposed to go out and meet people, build relationships, and experiment. He could not do that with his brother holding him back. Klaus found a bench and sat down. He waited patiently for JazzyMae to make her way up to the seventh floor.

JazzyMae was tired. The thought had crossed her mind to just head up to her dorm and go to sleep, but she really wanted to tell her brother what she had done that day. She was so excited that Klaus was in Gryffindor. She was so proud of him. She could definitely understand how he got into that house. Kennedy was very possessive and clingy. He could not balance himself out without leaning onto someone else. When her oldest brother was angry it was messy. When their father died he threw the hugest tantrum she'd ever seen. He was crying, blowing things up, and made our neighbors worry he had gone nutters. That was when he started to cling onto Klaus. The two were inseparable since then. Now she worried that her brothers were going to end up killing each other. As their sibling she felt she had a duty to make sure that did not happen. She was protective over her family, and she did not want to see her brothers tear each other apart. Once she reached the seventh floor she roamed around. She saw Klaus sitting on a bench looking at his feet. JazzyMae smiled and skipped over to her older brother. "Well isn't it the first lion of the Smile family." she beamed at him.

Klaus picking at his fingers when his sister bounced over to him. He looked at the short girl and smiled. "Hey Badger. Wasn't expecting to see you here!" he joked and ruffled his sister's hair. He then pulled her into a hug. Klaus had not hugged his sister like this since their father passed away. He then pulled away, and he patted the spot next to him. He actually planned to talk to his sister. He had not in away. "I can tell you have been up to something." he said and leaned against the wall with his arms crossed. Klaus had managed to get his Afro into a bun on top of his head. It took a lot of patience and hair gel to get the strays to not be stray.

JazzyMae rolled her eyes playfully. She sat down next to her brother. She did have something She wanted to tell him, but she wanted to know how he was doing first. She was sure his long legs were tired from all of the walking he had to do. The exercise was exspecially harsh for him since he was on the seventh corridor. Most of his classes were up, down and around the school grounds. She seriously bad for her brother."Okay, I am an alternate beater on the Quidditch team." she spilled to her brother. She started to giggle. She could not believe she had made the team... kind of. She was just an alternate. She knew something was up with her brother. He had been acting strangely since he got to Hogwarts. He seemed to be disturbed, and this bothered JazzyMae. "What have you been up to?" she asked eying her brother curiously.

Klaus embraced his sister in a side hug. He was proud that that his sister had made the team. Even if she was an alternate. He was sure Kennedy would be glad too. He let go of his sister and looked at the ground. He had been thinking all about Kennedy lately. His twin was always on his mind. It kind of disturbed him. He did not want to always depend on his twin, but he just needed something from his twin. Whenever he thought about his twin, which was all the time, his heart started to race. They were twins, so automatically they were closer than regular siblings. He had never imagined he would feel this way towards his own brother. He did not know what to do with himself. Though Klaus hated to admit it he wanted to be with his brother. He shook his head. 'No Klaus. That is not right. He is your brother. You cannot feel this way.' he tried to convince himself in his head, but it was not working. "I like someone Jazmine, but I shouldn't like them. It is wrong."

Jazmine. The use of her full name made JazzyMae worried. She was able to get away with being called JazzyMae here, and she did not want anyone to know her full name. She would not even tell her best friend her full name. She was not ashamed of her real name she just wanted to keep it a mystery. She hoped strongly that her real name would not be in the next Rumor Has It magazine. It would be like a knife in her heart. JazzyMae leaned against the wall and crossed right leg over her left leg. She did not know who Klaus liked, and she knew that he was not going to tell her. The twins always kept her out of their business. They told her very little about what they did when they got along. Nothing had changed now. Both were still going to keep their little sister in the dark. "I don't even know why you told me that. It is not like you are going to tell me who she is, right? I don't want to waste time with you anymore." JazzyMae said coldly. She uncrossed her legs and stood up. She was not going to waste her time begging her brother to tell her who it was. It always hurt her to think that she was not able to be trusted with anything.

Klaus expected JazzyMae's reaction. He and Kennedy had kept their little sister in the dark about everything they did for so long she did not even expect Klaus to go into detail. He did not know that keeping things from his sister could have such and effect on her. She felt like she was being teased, and JazzyMae did not want to beg her brother to tell her anything. Klaus sat up and grabbed JazzyMae's wrist before she could storm off. JazzyMae was completely trustworthy, but the twin made it seem like she was the worst person to tell a secret to. Klaus was not going to keep this from his sister. He had to let her in on this one. "I think I like our brother." he said quickly. He could not dare say Kennedy's name. If he tried he would have gotten all tongue tied. He looked down at the ground expecting some type of physical abuse from his sister. JazzyMae was unpredictable at times, and he was sure that he was going to get reaction that would surprise him. He just hoped it would be a normal reaction like punching or kicking him.

JazzyMae whipped around faster than humanly possible, and ripped her wrist from Klaus' grip. The Hufflepuff glared at her brother. Was this her brother's idea of a joke? If so, it was not funny at all. She found it to be very cruel and disgusting. She never thought her brothers would come up with something this sick. JazzyMae hoped that Klaus did not like Kennedy. It would destroy what little relationship the family had with each other. Their mother would tell Klaus to snap out of of it, and Kennedy was already interested in this Ruby girl. She would not let Klaus complicate things any further. She did not want to see their mother watch as her kids ate at each other alive. "You better mean like as a brother way of liking Klaus because this is not funny at all." she said hopefully.

Klaus shook his head. He could not lie about his feelings for Kennedy to JazzyMae. Even if that was what his sister wanted to hear. Her glare was like daggers being shot into his chest. His sister radiated a very strong and upset energy. "No. I do not mean it that way, Jaz." he said and stared at his feet. He felt like his sister knew something that he did not, and it freaked him out. Klaus stood up from the bench. It was almost curfew, and JazzyMae had a long ways to walk. "Talk about this later?" he said nervously and he started to walk away from his sister and towards the painting that lead him into the Gryffindor common room. Once he reached the painting he said the password and walked into the common room.

JazzyMae's heart nearly stopped. She heard tearing. She heard the tearing apart of her heart over her family. She could not believe this was happening. Why Klaus have to feel that way towards his own brother? Kennedy hated Klaus right now. How could Klaus love him? She would have no problem if he had feelings for a guy. She did not mind it if Klaus preferred to be with guys. She would not let Klaus feel that way towards Kennedy. It was disgusting on so many levels in JazzyMae's book. She watched as her brother walked away. He acted like this was not a big deal. It was a huge deal. Her sanity depended on it. This would tear apart the family. Their mother would not know what to do. Annalise would probably be overwhelmed and zone out. She did not want to see her mother like that again. It pained JazzyMae when her mother just zoned out. She did not like seeing her mother that way. It hurt her heart. "I am the one who is supposed to be walking away, dumb@ss!" she screamed as her brother entered the painting. Tears in her eyes she made her way down the stairs and to the fourth floor. She just wanted to go to sleep, wake up and pretend that she and Klaus never had this conversation.
