It was a normal bulgarian day. The sun was partially hidden by the clouds and the wind was only slightly blowing. In other words it was quite a nice day. Danika was on her way to the home she had not been back to in well over a year. She had been busy travelling around the world so it had been tough to get back. Even though she could have apparated, she prefered to walk to place and drive, and take the muggle ways. Only because she liked to look at the scenery. Alot of the places she had visited were very pretty and she had made a note to make sure that she goes back there again. She really liked travelling and she knew that it would be something she really liked. She smiled at the thought and riffled through her bag to find her house keys. She was sure she had brought them. Her wand was in there, as were her car keys and the keys to her apartment in New Zealand. Her mother had told her that she had been thinking of sending the twins to Hogwarts New Zealand, so she had decided to get an apartment there, so they would be closer to the school during their holidays. Easier to visit friends and other such things. She sighed where were they. Then she shook her head, of course, she had put them in her pocket earlier. She had known she would have misplaced them otherwise. Not that she was forgetful or anything. It was mostly that she often forgot to just pick them up. It was no big thing, everyone forgot things sometimes. She pulled the keys out of her pocket and looked at the front door of her house. It was a relatively big house. She definately liked it. She was always sad when she had to leave it. It wasn't a traditional house, but it was the traditional two stories high. Their Bashta* had been sure of that. She shook her head. He still had a hand in their life, even though he spent so long in Durmstrang, considering he was a professor there and all. It had been hard for her growing up, getting an education at the school your father teaches at. She worked so hard to be seperated from her father, only to Graduate and realise that her dream was to be a Professor, but not a Durmstrang, maybe at Beauxbatons, or even Hogwarts. she couldn't believe her change of heart actually.

She unlocked the door and stepped into the living room. She loved coming home after being away for so long. She smiled as she took in the atmosphere. Her Maika** always prided herself on keeping the house clean. Though at the moment she was not in the house as she was at her clinic about half an hour away in Tirnovo. She really liked working there. She could help so many people, muggles and magical, though her clinic was mostly for magical creatures. She was a vet too. Which Danika found funny, considering her parents had both agreed that they were not allowed to have any type of animal in the house. She shook her head and sat on the sofa. Where was everyone? "Dex, Dec, girls? Is anyone home?" She called as she crossed her legs and sat her bag on the table. She switched on the television and leaned in to the sofa. If they weren't home they would be very soon. Besides, here Maika and Bashta would never allow them to be alone. Not in this place. It wasn't a bad place but it was quite easy to get lost. Danika used to all the time when she went to the park. She smiled at the memory.

Dexter zoomed around the backyard, he loved to run around the backyard with his arms spread out wide, right now, it was just him and Declan out the back, sure there were nearly six years between him and Declan, but they got along quite well, Declan would always come out and play with him, he would play dress up, hide and seek, pretend and Auror and Deatheater. And that was what they were playing right now, Aurors and Deatheaters. Dexter was the auror, while Declan was being the Deatheater, a bad one at that, Dexter had him all tied up and ready to be sent to Azkaban, he was quite proud of himself. He smiled and held his 'wand', which in reality was a stick, at a bound by the wrists, Dexlan. ''Now you nasty Deatheater, any last words before I send you to Azkaban?" He asked, trying to hold a dominate aand serious ttone. ''Deatheaters like you are not allowed in Bulgarian!" He announced, his 'wand' never moving from facing Declan.

He was about to send the Deatheater Declan to 'Azkaban', which was the cubby house in their tree that Declan and their Bashta had built, he frowned slightly when he heard someone voice, female, very familiar. He stood silently, looking at Declan. ''I..." he cut himself off when he realized why the voice was so familiar. "Danika!" He smiled, leaving Declan and zomming into the house seemingly at the speed of light. He bolted into the living room and leapt next to Danika on the couch, giving his wonderful sister a big, warm hug. "Danika, you came back!" He exclaimed happily, patting his dear sisters hair and smiling. ''Declan and I were just playing, what were you doing?" He asked, giving Danika a big smile.

Declan rolled his beautiful blue eyes as his littl e brother went on a rant about how he was an evil Deatheater and how he was going to surely go to Azkaban, which in reality, was his colorful cubby house that was full of posters and other various pretty things he kept. He tried to move his hands around, but they were bound tight. He sighed, Dexter was never going to be allowed to tie his hands behind his back again, he smirked slightly at Auror Dexters question. "Yes, I want you to know that I will return and gobble up your family, using my mighty wand.'' He said, gesturing to the wand that sat in his belt. Unlike Deters stick, Declan's wand was a real wand that was made by a wand maker, and unlike Dexter's, it could cast real magic too. "Declan, seriously now, could you untie my hands, my wrists are sore.'' He said, frowning when Dexter completely ignored him and seemed to be thinking about something. ''Dexter?" He asked, stepping closer to his baby brother.

He watched Dexter smile and zoom off into the house, he groaned, how was he to untie his hand if they were behind his back? He followed Dexter into the hhouse, ready to yell at him or scold him, but he froze when he saw Danika, he smiled brightly, the young Part-veela laughed slightly. ''Sestra!" He cried, walking towards her , still smiling brightly. ''Could you please untie my hands?" He asked, first wanted to be freed before he sat next to her and started asking her how she had been.

Danika smiled when both her younger brothers came running into the house from the backyard. She shook her head, they were always out there. It was like their secret location that nobody knows about, except that everyone did. Though the twins never really went out there, so it kind of was their own little hide out. Danika always went to the park when she was a little girl and sometimes she would take the boys with her, but the girls were always too small. They were only seven after all. She frowned. Where were they anyway. The boys were here, so where were the girls? Probably in their bedroom playing with the dolls or anything else they had gotten their hands on. Speaking of which, Danika had picked up some things in Toronto in Canada for her siblings that she though they might like. "Hey Dex, of course i did, this is my home too. I still live her you know." She smiled as he plopped down next to her. She smiled and hugged him. He was adorable and she was sure he would like his gift. He was a very curious little boy after all."I've been travelling around the world. And I bought you each a gift aswell." She told her youngest brother as he bounced exitedly. Then she laughed slightly and shook her head. The boys had obviously been playing Aurors and Deatheaters and she was pretty sure she knew who was who. She pulled out her wand and untied the ropes around Declan's arm. What a dork. "Hey Dec, how you been? Where are the girls?"

Dexter giggled when Declan walked in. He truly loved playing with his big brother, he was really nice and would always let Dexter take control of their games, which was why he wound up tying Declan up, he was going to tie his dear brother to a tree, but he wouldn't allow that, so he just tied his arms together. ''But you are never here, you never come home Danika...'' he explained, a small frown appearing on his little face. But it quickly changed into a smile. ''But that doesn't matter because you're back nnow!" He added, giving her another warm hug and glaring slightly at the Deatheater Declan. ''You rotten Deatheater, go back to Azkaban!" He commanded, swishing his 'wand' around at Declan playfully.

At the mention of gifts, Dexter smile grew twice its original size, he loved presents. ''Really?!" He exclaimed excitedly. "You got me a present?" He asked, his blue eyes shining like a lighthouse, he really wanted to know what his present was, very quickly. ''What is it?" He asked. ''Where's it from?" He added as an after tthought, pulling on Danika's arm softly.

Declan smiled happily when Danika untied his hands, he massaged his wrists, they had slightly rope burn from his fidgeting. No more rope tying for Dexter. He smiled weakly at Danika's question. He had not been ggoing very well at all, not that things at home were bad, but things at school were not so good. Being outed as a gay 'half-breed' was never fun, not at all, and the bullying was nearly unbareable, even his father, who worked at Durmstrang, couldn't stop it, it was ridiculous to say the least, so Declan had been thinking about starting again, this time at Beauxbatons, he had spoken to his mother about his want to change schools and she was fine with it, completely, so as of next year, hopefully Beauxbatons would be his school, and hopefully it would continue to be his new school until he finished his magical education. "I've been good...'' he said, not wanting to talk about his problems in front of Dexter, he was too young to understand what Declan was going through, so there was no point in trying to eexplain iit to him, or trying to explain it to Danika while he was in the same room, though he wasn't sure if he was going to tell Danika the whole reason of why he was hoping to transfer, as her previous behavior at the school also played a huge part in his treatment, as people saw him as Danika, the brat who stepped over everyone, so if they had beef with her, they would take it out on Declan, in quite violent ways. "But I've been thinking of transferring to Beauxbatons.'' He added, a small smile on his face.

Declan laughed slightly. ''The twins could be anywhere, though I am quite sure ththat tthey are in their rooms playing with their dolls, tthat waswas where they wwere before.'' He said, leaving the thoughts of Durmstrang at the back of his mind. ''But it's ggrsat to have you back Sestra. '' he added happily.

Danika smiled. She loved this. She loved being home with her family again. Granted her parents weren't home, but having her siblings was good enough for her. For now atleast. She shook her head at Dexter. He was not going to get his present yet. "No, you'll get them all together. Be patient precious" She told him as she sort of pushed him away from her. She didn't like being crowded. Never had and never would. It was just a trait she had picked up whilst at Durmstrang. People used to crowd her there all the time. It was suffocating really. "You need to learn patience. Really you do." She added. She was glad to hear that Declan was good, though she was shocked about hearing that he was going to change schools. Was Maika okay with that? She frowned. "Well thats all good Dec, but is Maika okay with that? What about Bashta?" She asked as she crossed her arms. She didn't believe that her parents would ever be okay with Declan going to school so far away in France. She hadn't been allowed to attend, no matter how much she had begged her parents. Why would he be allowed? That wouldn't be fair. "Why do you want to go there anyway? Its so warm there, Ive been to france remember?" She added as an after thought. Mostly girls went there. Why would he want to go there. Though he would be able to find a girlfriend easy enough, though she doubted that was the reason. Perhaps it was the veela population that appealed to him? There were alot of veelas there, considering that veelas were french or something, so that must've meant that theyu had french blood in their veins somewhere. She supposed it was from her baba*. She nodded. "So the twins are in the bedroom? COuld you go get them for me. I want to hand out your gifts but I want you to get them altogether. You know like a family should. It can be our new tradition or something." She finished. Then she hugged Declan when he finished talking. It was good to be back. She had missed her home on her travels. "Yes Declan, and its good to be home." She hugged her brothers with all the ferocity of a mother who had missed her children. They were so much younger than her. Especially Dexter and the twins.

Dexter frowned, patience was not a trait of his, and he didn't want it to be, that would mean that he would be expected to wait for things, he didn't want to wait for anything, ever. ''But Danika...'' he muttered sadly, his face showing the devastation of someone that's house was blown away from a tornado. ''Why can't I have it now?" He begged, placing his hands together, trying his best to come off as angelic as possible. ''Pleeeeeeeease?" He whined, still wearing a sad frown. ''Pretty, pretty please with cherry on top of a vanilla ice-cream?" He added, he knew that his pretty sister didn't eat much ice-cream, but she liked vanilla ice-cream, and the colour vanilla, and the smell of vanilla, so he thought ththat it would be perfect to try and bedazzel her into giving him his present just a little bit earlier than everyone else. ''Declan the nasty Deatheater won't mind, will you Dec?" He asked, giving his brother a threatening glare, though he was only nine, so it wasn't exactly scary, but to Dexter, it was a horryfying glare, one that would turn people to stone.

He smiled slightly when Danika meantion a family tradition, that sounded fun. ''Only if it states that I open my present first.'' He said stubbornly, putting his little hands on his hips, but when Danika hugged him, his stubborn demeanor changed back to its normal happy self. ''I'll get them!" He announced, starting to dash up the stairs. If she would only give him his present when the twins were in the room ggetting theirs, he wawanted them down stairs faster than light. ''Damita! Davina!" He called, opening the door tto his llittle sisters' rooms. ''Come down stairs, Danika's here!" He said, ushering the little girls out as soon as possible.

Declan laughed slightly at Dexters face, he knew that his baby brother was trying to look scary, but it wasn't working, not at all, in fact, he looked more child-like than usual, just a side effect of his blonde hair and blue eyes, his Veela blood would have also played a part most likely. "No." He ansered, giggling slightly, but he frowned when Danika spoke, this took his attention from his brother, he ran his hand through his hair, which needed to be cut, but he liked it being past his ears, it felt more natural and softer. His dear sestra's question brought him back to when he had actually ask his Maika to allow him to transfer, she was outraged, and his Bashta was mortified to say the least. BUt he had won them around after a while and a few good arguments, now his maika was quite fine with his transferring, but his bashta still had problems with it, he didn't understand, and Declan was fine with that, he didn't expect his father to understand, so he didn't force him to. "They are both completely fine with my decision." He answered, a little defensively, but he didn't realise it. He thought about his answer before he said it. "I just feel like going to France, it's a nice place... so I put in my application." He explained, shrugging weakly as he sighed, he didn't like talking about it too much.

He nodded, a smile growing on his pale face, he was grateful that the conversation had migrated, he ignored Dexters rude sentence and answered his sestra. "Yeah, I'll-" he cut himself off when Dexter went flying out of the room, he shook his head slowly. "No patience..." He nuttered, rolling his blue eyes and turning to Danika. "So how were your travels? Now that Dexter is gone, we might actually be able to have a conversation that does not include the words: I want." He joked, sitting on the coffee table, a habit his parents loathed, but he did anyway. He knew that any second now, Dexter would come flying back, so he watched the hallway, expecting to see his little face jump out of no-where.
