The Great Hall shone with brilliance that only the staff of Hogwarts New Zealand could produce upon this fine day of All Hallows Eve, or as most know it by - Halloween. The floating candles were replaced with floating Jack-o-lanterns. The tables were pushed to the side all around the walls of the Great Hall. The tables were dressed with black and orange table cloths to celebrate such an event. There were candy bowls and delicious food all upon the tables as well as pumpkin juice for the beverage. Roman Ivo stood at the podium and he waved his scarred hand at the wide doors to allow the students dressed as many hilarious and scary things into the Great Hall. They would be impressed this year and perhaps their excitement would begin.
The students were dressed in marvelous costumes to celebrate, and Roman himself did not dress up for the occasion. The talented judges sat at the staff table to judge the costumes once the time came. Roman Ivo said to the students, Welcome, students, to the Halloween Feast of the year 2027! We will have the contest for the Halloween costumes. While you wait, enjoy the feast, and have a happy Halloween! Roman concluded his speech and he went and sat down with the other staff and judges. He observed the students with his gray eyes observed the feast from afar. Dancing and music began and Roman could see some staff members also dressed up in costumes unlike himself and enjoyed the feast. Roman did not partake in events such as these. He was not interested in such festivities. Tapping his fingers against his cane, he loomed over the guests, hoping no tragedies occur
