<COLOR color="#000"> Annalie Darkhart leant casually against the wall, her shoulder resting against the cold stone, throwing glares at anyone that passed. The brunette was on the lookout for her new favourite victim Lapis Lazuli, waiting for her class to end. Since finding out some rather delicate information Annalie found it to be her duty to exploit the information as much as she could before the time came when she would have to reveal what she now knew. But for now at least, she had the perfect blackmail opportunity and there was no way that she would waste it. The Ravenclaw had some big things planned, but first she had to test Lapis' ability to follow instructions, without it seeming like she was being forced against her will. A difficult task for the weak minded. Lapis' first task was going to be a simple one, to carry Annalie's books through the corridors to their dormitory. Nothing too strenuous. Though Annalie had made a point to issue a collection of large, heavy books from the library for the occasion, which she had staked eight high on the bench in front of where she stood.

Spotting Lapis through the crowds of the now exiting students Annalie hurried to pick up the books and drew up to the girl, "Hey Lapis" she muttered sweetly, only so passers by would assume the meeting to be friendly. "These books are awfully heavy, you wouldn't mind carrying a few?" she asked holding the entire pile out to her. Annalie dearly hoped that Lapis would continue on with the act and not blow their cover, all she had to do was keep on smiling. She didn't want to spill the beans quite so early on.

Lapis came out of the classroom in a good mood from the interesting class, only to have it ruined by the sight of Annalie waiting for her outside. The Ravenclaw's trepidation grew with every step she took towards her blackmailer. Nevertheless, she fought a path through the swirling crowds of students to join her, knowing there was no choice. Not if she didn't want a certain secret to get out. Annalie wasn't at all the sort of person that Lapis would normally hang out with, so if anyone who knew the mismatched pair saw them together Annalie's painstaking attempts to seem friendly would be useless anyway. Lapis reached the other Ravenclaw and smiled sarcastically. "Hi, Annalie."

Lapis worked out what Annalie was up to this time as soon as she noticed the immense pile of books she was carrying. Although relieved that it was nothing more serious- yet- Lapis shot her a glare full of loathing as she took the books. She had to do this, but she didn't have to like it. And she didn't have to carry on with Annalie's little game of making it look harmless. "Sure," Lapis grunted, realising just how heavy the stack of books was. "Where are you heading?" Already her arms were beginning to ache.
