Megan made her way down to the lake, it was quite a miserable day, raining quite hard, so there weren't many people around. She had been trying to do what Andrew had told her to, trying to socialise, but everytime there was a chance she didn't have the courage.

The small girl sat down by the lake, her dress was already quite wet from the rain. Megs began to think, she thought of how she could start her little mission, then what steps to take to progress. She figured it would be easy if she had someone new to help, a second friend, but she didn't have one. "All I need is a new friend."

The wet day didn't deter Lisa from taking a walk. Her jacket was zipped up to her chin, and the hood was fastened tightly around her head. She had considered putting on wellingtons, but had decided against it, seeing as she wasn't walking too far, and it was only for a breath of fresh, clean air.

As she was passing the lake, a roar of thunder ripped across the sky. "Uh-oh," she muttered, as the breeze started to pick up, turning into a gale. The sooner she got inside, the better; with her small stature, she could be blown away if the wind got too strong for her to resist. She turned to head inside, but something caught her eye; something blue. It was a girl.

"What are you doing out here without a jacket?" Lisa called as she ran towards her. She realised it was Megan from her house. "You'll get blown away!"

Megan looked up, her hair was blowing from the wind so she couldn't see the person talking and she could barely hear what they were saying. She brushed her hair back, holding it so it would saty, and realised that the girl was Lisa. "I can't hear you." She attempted to say but her voice was as quiet as it always was so instead she stood up. Megs had to pause slightly to keep her balance before walking carefully towards her housemate. "What did you say?" It was then Megan realised that she had not only not spoken the facts, but she hadn't even thought them either.

Lisa grabbed Megan firmly as the smaller girl walked towards her. Quickly zipping down her jacket, she took it off and threw it over their heads, covering them from the rain. "I said you'll get blown away," she almost shouted over the wind. "By my reckoning, there's a whopper of a storn coming, and fast," she added, as lightening flashed across the sky.

Megan was confused when the other girl grabbed her but her face smoothed out from the frown that appeared when she explained. "Maybe we should find shelter then?" She suggested, not sure if it was the right thing to say, maybe she was pointing out the obvious. Apparently that wasn't a good thing to do.

Lisa considered that a moment. The rain was getting heavier. "Yes, we had better head up to the castle," she said, "Or in a nook or something." Her green eyes cast around for any sign of shelter that was not the castle. Definately not trees; they could get hit by lightening and fall, killing both girls.

Megan saw Lisa look around for shelter so she bagan to think what would be the safest area. The safest place she knew was inside a car but there weren't many cars in hogwarts if any at all. "Would the quidditch benches work? I mean, if we went underneath them?"

((Soso sorry, should've told you I'd be away. >_< ))

Lisa considered that a moment. The Quidditch pitch was looking better - not to mention closer - than the castle at the moment. "Okay so," she said, adjusting the jacket so that it stayed over their heads. Her Converse were getting drenched; she could feel her feet going numb with cold. "Let's go, and quickly."

Megan ran off towards the benches, making sure Lisa was behind her as she ran. When she reached the benches she quickly slid between the gap in two seats and sat underneath, waiting for the other girl to follow her through.
