The Final Slytherin Rose

Rose had just delivered a rose to Athena and one to Rory, and while she was at the Slytherin table she decided to skip to the end of her list and try her luck with her final delivery for this house. She waved at Diana in passing, not surprised when the girl didn't respond. She cleared her throat. "Anyone know Alistair?" She asked as she looked around. It was an uncommon name, so she didn't think the last name needed to be added.

Hearing his name at the Slytherin table was rather surprising, since Alistair wasn't exactly friends with many of his housemates. What was even more surprising was the fact that it had instead come from a Gryffindor girl, one of the students going about with the whole Valentines rose thing. The teenager honestly thought for a second that she was after someone else, another Alistair in Slytherin that he'd just never happened to hear of, but when no one else confirmed it was them, and a few expectant glances were instead on him, Ali knew he had to have been the one she was after. Merlin's beard, what could she want? Not to give him a rose, surely. "I'm Alistair." The Lancaster boy said, almost reluctantly. This was probably just someone's idea of a joke, whether it was a student or Vex. Whatever, he'd just have to deal with it.

Rose was starting to think that maybe she wouldn't have any luck at the Slytherin table when she noticed a few people glance at one blond boy. She looked at him too, wondering if he could be the guy she was looking for. Or maybe he simply knew him? The question was quickly answered when the boy admitted to being Alistair, which was good because Rose didn't feel like walking around much longer to find him. "Hey." She said as she headed over to him. "I have a rose for you, a pretty yellow one." She held it out to him with a grin.
