The Morning had gone quite smoothly, he had picked Meera up from where she was staying with her school and taken her around the town to look at the market and purchase bits and bobs for her trip back home, he had also picked up some vials and ingredients for a potion and showed her the rights ones to buy so she could make some potions once she was back at school. They had viewed the sights that the town had to offer before Lake took them to a sweet little coffee shop to relax for a while, it was Meera's last day and lake wanted to make sure she didn't miss out on anything, he had shown her around for a few days, he insisted he was her guide, he didn't trust some people to not hurt her due to who he was.

Sitting at the table Lake had ordered himself a pot of English Breakfast Tea to share with Meera, he sipped his Tea before sitting back in his chair and half smiled at meera 'was there anything else you wanted to do before i take you to your farewell gathering so you can return back to the dull garden bed where you are the only rose surrounded by thistles and thorns' he said referring to the other students at Beaubaxtons who seemed rather fake to Lake.
Listening to Meera he sat up rather taller than usual as a way to stretch out his back, he wasn't going to say anything to Meera but a full moon was coming in 3 days and his scars were starting to twinge and become painful, Meera was in no danger but he didn't want to scare her, he half winced but picked up his tea and took a sip to disguise it. Lake had enjoyed his time with Meera and he wasn't sure if he was sad or dissapointed that she was going, he felt like he had found someone he could trust who was a proper friend for once when usually all the "friends" he made were fake and superficial who just wanted to be his friend as of a dare or be his friend because they wanted him to make them a cheap or very deadly potion.

To say that Meera's trip to Bulgaria had been great would be wrong because it had been so much better than great. As she toured the small town during the day with her school and at evening with her new friend Lake she thought she was the luckiest girl in town. She could not believe that three days back she was angry at the school administration to put her name down for this trip. She had so much to tell her friend Alice. Meera was not sure how Alice would react when Meera told her that she had made her first guy friend ever. Her opinion of guys had finally changed and she was still not sure if this would continue when she went back to France. Lake was a foreigner but the boys back at her school were the same. She still had a few more hours before she had to report back to the hotel and take off and Lake had decided to take her to the market of the town. Meera enjoyed watching him bargain in Bulgarian and he seemed to know his way around everything. His knowledge on potions was enlightening too and she could not wait to try the potions that he had taught her. She carried the bag with all the ingredients and souvenirs in one hand and her purse in the other as she followed Lake to the coffee shop that he had mentioned earlier.

Meera had been drinking too much of coffee lately and she agreed to have Tea for a change. It was not like what her mother made when she added ginger and other spices but it was good. She sipped it. When Lake asked her his question, adding his comment about rose and thorns she couldn't help but laugh. Unfortunately for her she had tea in her mouth and she choked. Quickly bringing her hand to her mouth she stopped any drops of tea from escaping out and creating a mess. Her eyes became watery instead. After a few cough and a sips of water Meera felt better. "You shouldn't say things like that when I have hot tea in my mouth" she said with a smile as she sipped some more water. "Some people are nice. Not anyone on this trip but back at school, I do have a best friend" she said as she went back to sipping her tea. "Maybe you should visit sometime then you would know" she said wondering if Lake would ever visit France. The thought of leaving her him made her sad and she tried to ignore it. "I think I know this town now. I bet I could lead the way from here to my hotel" she said thoughtfully. It was a small town and she had seen it all.

Lake picked up a napkin and held it out to Meera to assist her while she choked, he din't want to get up and pat her on her back she might get a shock from that, he decided to let her take its course, and someone could think that he was assulting her which he didn't need to deal with on her last day. Lake just smiled and waited for her to come back around and be able to speak again. Lake chuckled to himself 'Now here i was thinking i was your only friend, i feel decepted' he said sarcasm thick on his voice. Meera suggested that he visit france and he crinkled his nose slightly 'French is not my strongest subject, The Girls are very dainty and get scared of me because i look like i could hurt them' he half muttered to himself before answering Meera's question properly 'We shall see what happens with my work' he wanted to mention as well what Meera best friend would say when Meera told her that she was friends with a Werewolf, he doubted that he would see her again which made him purse his lips slightly.

Lake finished off his tea and stood up when Meera said that she could lead the way and shrugged his jumper staying tucked into his jeans and his hands in his pockets 'I accept your request' swiftly Lake put one foot behind him and bowed to Meera with one hand out to assist her to stand if she required 'Lead the way then, you claim you know how to get there, i shall follow thee' he quipped waiting for Meera to take the lead.

Meera laughed as Lake used sarcasm on her. "Well, my friend is not French though and neither am I, not by origin anyway so maybe you're right" she said thoughtfully after wiping her mouth with the napkin. Once they settled the bill, Meera smirked as Lake asked her to lead. She was so ready for a challenge. Meera liked learning new things and when Lake had told her about this town's history, georgraphy and politics she had listened carefully. Now she was going to prove that. She stepped out of the cafe and looked to her right and then left studying the familiar streets. They all were made of brown and red stone, covered with green trees, all looking alike to her. She remembered coming from the left side which led to the market. The market was somewhere near Lake's store and home but it was the opposite side of their hotel. "We take right" she said with a grin as she joined the pieces together in her head and begun walking to the right.

As she walked, her heels tapped on the stone ground. She had no option but to wear heels as they went best with the outfit.Earlier during the day she had thought of putting on something casual but her school had insisted on looking good at the farewell. "You have to admit though, not all students from Durmstrang and Bulgarian people are nice but that didn't stop us from coming" she said continuing the conversation and hoping to convince Lake to take a trip to France. "Paris is just lovely and the Eiffel tower, at night with all those lights...its so beautiful" she said remembering the famous building back home. She stopped in her tracks as the road divided into two narrower streets. She knew one of them would lead her to the church grounds and the other to the hotel, she was just not sure which one. "This one" she said a little unsure but she did not want to loose so she begun walking, this time a little slower. As they walked a little more into the street she realized it was the way to the church but she did not stop. Everything in this place was interconnected. "If we take this road, it's a short cut to the hotel right?" she asked Lake as she looked down at a narrow opening that was a slope, filled with rocks and plants growing on both sides of the wall that bordered the small path. The roads in this town were decent but it was after all at the beginning of a mountain and rocks and slopes were just something that made the place.

Lake Chuckled thoughtfully when Meera mentioned that Bulgarians wern't that nice 'I take offence to that and you have made a mark on my honor' his tone playful but his face serious, he watched as she walked he could almost hear her brain ticking away as she was figuring out where to go. She made as comment on the Eiffel Tower and he instantly thought of his sister 'Phoebe often goes to Paris, she uhm.. likes the company she sees there' he said with a half shrug 'Maybe one day i will find my way to Paris and you will have to show me around' he added with a smile
Meera made a pause in her judgement not knowing where to go, she took one route and he followed daring not to say anything, she soon realised that she was heading the wrong way and he waited for her again, she asked if another route would shortcut and he shook his head with a smile and gently placed his hands on her shoulders, enjoying the feeling of her warmth through her clothes before guiding her down the road a little bit to another allyway which seemed to be sketchy looking but one you past the shadows you could see a wall of greenery and colourful flowers 'That one led to a dead end, this one will take you right through to the Hotel, at the end turn right and you will be standing right infront of the hotel.. but you knew that didn't you' he said in a half joke as if to pretend she was testing him all along.

Lake followed Meera as she walked sometimes standing at her side, other times falling behind but never losing her.

Meera waited for Lake's reply. Some of the roads did look familiar. If only she knew how to read Bulgarian it would all be so easy. Or maybe if she carried around her mobile which would have GPS. She did own one at home but electronic devices did not work around too much magic at places like Beaux or this wizarding village so there was no meaning bringing it here. "Of course I did" she said with a chuckle knowing that Lake knew that she had it wrong but was just allowing her to feel right. She liked that. She felt conscious about his hand on her shoulder. It made her skin burn. In a nice way. "It would be a treat for you to have me as your guide in France" she said with a smile hoping that one day Lake would make it to her city. She walked through the path he had explained and in a few minutes they emerged at the clearing and the small garden in front of their hotel. "That was faster than I thought" she said, sadness in her tone. Somehow she was hoping that her journey with Lake would never end but here she was. She watched the familiar faces of the students of Beaux all saying their goodbyes. The worker were loading the carriages with their luggage. Meera did not want to leave just yet. She had finally met a boy unlike all the ones at her school. Mature and understanding, friendly and protective and only now had she realized that she wanted more than friendship with Lake. "I guess this is goodbye" she said with a weak smile as she turned to face him. She could not meet his eyes. She was worried she they might tear up if she did.
