Iris Skipped Into the Great hall for the Halloween feast , since she had never been to a halloween Feast The 11 Year old was excited . She Didn't know what to do so she just stood there in her Spakly Angel Costume .

As she looked around Iris didn't really see many people , just a bit of them So she wondered where everyone was , maybe in their common rooms ? or maybe in the dorms ? But who would want to miss the feast . Well who cares they'll come . So she skipped to the claw table and grabbed a peice of food . " wow , this is good . " She said . She sat and waited for something to happen with her sparkly white snow angel costume On she was officially bored .

Halloween was Sidney Marcus Carver's favourite day of the year. But he did not love it for the food that could be eaten on the very day. No, he liked it because of the fact that for one day he was not the only person imagining that they were in a different place. A different person. Just a new beginning for everyone. It was why he had taken so long to decided upon what to wear and had in the end just decided to go with a very simple outfit taken from the children's book, Where the wild things are. He had used the costume the year before, but since he hadn't grown that much since then and the costume had been big for him before, now, it was fitted him a little more. As for what he would do once he had reached the Great hall and the feast was a completely different matter, he didn't have many friends as of yet, but he was working on that. As he was now dressed in the costume, Sidney added his usual shoes, dark blue converses and headed down to the great hall. He didn't know what to expect from such a place, in all honesty he was worried that he would spend the entire time doing nothing and just sitting around. But once he reached the hall, the dark blue eyes of the boy darted around the room until he came across a girl who was around his age sitting alone at the Ravenclaw table. The young boy bounced his way over to her. A smile plastered on his face as he looked around the hall and realised how many people were there. And the many, many different costumes. He thought that his wasn't that good compared to others who'd clearly made much more of an effort. However since he was alone and so was this girl he removed all the others from his brain and went to the girl. He tapped lightly on her shoulder before walking round in front of her "Hey" The gryffindor said, unsure as to how to continue. "Your costume is Awesome." He complimented her, feeling his cheeks redden with a small amount of embarrasment. "Mind if I sit?"

Katy entered the great hall for the awesome Halloween feast. When she had first been told about it, she couldn't wait. She was dressed up as a vampire for this special occasion. She only found one open seat next to a boy dressed in a wild thing costume and a girl that was dressed like an angel. She sat down in the open chair. "Hope you don't mind if I sit here", she said, being polite.
She couldn't find her brother anywhere in the room, maybe he didn't come. But why wouldn't he? The food looked amazing and pretty much EVERYONE was here. She hadn't heard from him in a week, but that was before she knew about the feast. Maybe he wasn't feeling well, or maybe he was late...

Iris Looked up to see two people Approaching her . " Oh Thanks "she said when The Boy that looked her age Started to talk . " Oh no Go ahead and sit " Iris said when he asked . " Hi Im Iris ... Iris Anderson . What's your name ?" She asked , just then , a Girl Approached her and asked to sit . " Yea Sure ! " She Said . " Im Iris . " She said Once again .

"That's a nice name. I'm Katy. You have astronomy with me don't you?", Katy said to Iris, the girl that was dressed as an angel. It was a perfect night, especially for a feast. She wanted to dig right into the food, but the headmaster hadn't officially announced 'let the feast begin' and all that. She saw a bowl of cherries, so she quietly took one and popped it into her mouth. No one really seemed to notice.

<SIZE size="50">Giving a small silent sigh, the Gryffindor boy sat down next to the girl who was dressed in a angel's costume. Hers was a lot better than his, and it was clear that she had probably put in a lot more effort than he had, But his costume was a little more than just something, it was really him. What the movie and book meant to him was more than anything else in the word. The boy in it was in a way like him. Making up different worlds because the one he was in, was just not good enough. It was why, Sidney had worlds within his mind. Ones he liked to escape to. Ones that he enjoyed a little more than the reality he lived in. It didn't matter that he was now at hogwarts living in a magical and amazing world, but He still loved his fantasies. Snapping back to being with the girl, he realised she had introduced herself to him. Sidney smiled at her as she did so, and was about to say his name in response when another girl walked over to them. Sidney was glad to have the company of another person, and since this was hogwarts all the girls were pretty. Even though at eleven, his thoughts for girls were nothing more than tiny fleeting thoughts. He nodded to the girl who had just joined them, and looked at the costume. A vampire. Which was nice. He had seen a few of those, but it was still a good costume. Sidney let his blue eyes move between the two girls as he made space for the vampire to sit. He looked to Iris as she spoke again. Her name again. "I'm Sidney, Sidney Marcus Carver. Gryffindor. It's a pleasure to meet you both" He said, introducing himself fully rather than doing it half heartedly. "Isn't this hall just the most amazing thing ever." Sidney smiled again, hoping to get some conversation out of the girls, and then he would eventually suggest they maybe do a bit of dancing, but for now he was fairly content as he was. "And both your costumes are amazing. An angel and a vampire. You both look fantatic"

Iris Listened as they Replied . " Oh Hi Katy ! Cute Costume ! " Iris Said . " And You too Sidney ! " Iris Had Saw the boy's costume and thought it was very unique since she hadn't really seen anyone with a costume like that . " Thanks Sidney , or can i call you Sid For short ? " She asked . Iris Noticed That Katy had Taken a Cherry . " Haha , I Dont blame you , The food looks great " Iris said as she turned to the girl . " Yup the Hall Is so big. " She said
