Zazuka made her way though the Dungeons. Her dire mood did not seem to lifting no matter what she tryed to she tryed one more thing. Singing to the echos had always made her spirits lift. She remembered one song she liked and started to let it catch in the echos of the deep dungeons.

"I hear your voice on the wind
And I hear you call out my name

"Listen, my child," you say to me
"I am the voice of your history
Be not afraid, come follow me
Answer my call, and I'll set you free"

I am the voice in the wind and the pouring rain
I am the voice of your hunger and pain
I am the voice that always is calling you
I am the voice, I will remain

I am the voice in the fields when the summer's gone
The dance of the leaves when the autumn winds blow
Ne'er do I sleep thoughout all the cold winter long
I am the force that in springtime will grow"

Zazuka hummed the tune under her breath while taking a spin. The heart brake she felt for Andy seemed to ease. It would in no way lift until she was safely back in the halls of Hogwarts but she could cheer herself up in thies small ways. She didn't want Brian or anyone to think she was a drama queen. Zazuka continued to hum and catching the sound back in the echos of the lonly dungeons.

Kat had just walked out of the potions classroom, her mind full of everything that she needed to do today. School had become a more than overly boring as of late...nothing seemed to hold her interest anymore. She was walking along the dungeon corridor, not wanting to spend anymore time down here than absolutely necessary because this place honestly gave her the creeps.

She stopped abruptly when she heard a voice singing rather loudly and echoing off the walls of the dungeons. Kat watched in amusement as the girl sang her song and spun around, not caring about who was around. She wished that she had that kind of spunk in her. Upon closer inspection, Kat thought that the girl looked very familiar, but she couldn't place her finger on it.

"What's that you're singing?" Kat asked with a smile as she approached the girl, still wracking her brain as to how she knew the girl.

Zazuka was about to continue when someone spoke. She realised she must have been singing rather close to the potions classroom even though she had taken random pathes in the soul perpose of losing herself down here. Zazuka had always found her way back eventualy even if it took hours. "Voice by Celtic Woman. I love the way she sings it and if I let the notes catch on the echos I sound almost as good." She said then smiled as brightly as she could. "Katalina right? The girl that was talking to that one boy in the great hall." She said more musing to herself than anything else.

Kat chuckled at the girl and said, "Never heard it before, but you didn't sound too bad." It finally hit her when the girl asked if she was Katalina. "Yeah, that's me...or well Kat rather, that's what everyone else calls me anyways. You're the girl I accidentally ran into that day. Sorry again about that." It had been nearly a year since that incident though it was a day that stuck out vividly in her mind, that was the day that Makato had come back to school. She hadn't seen him in months and the thought of him seemed to make her heart ache again. Quickly she shook that thought from her head and brought herself back around to the current situation. "I don't believe I ever caught your name that day. Sorry, first I ran into you and then I didn't even think to ask your name. That was a bit of a hectic day for me." she said apologetically.

Zazuka smiled while waving off the apology. "I've been pushed around before." She said with a bright smile. "I'm Zazuka Bones a Ravenclaw Second year. I was right to think that I should have ducked out where I could?" She asked jokenly. "But really I could tell that there was something between you two so I bowed out it was starting to get really aquwerd." She said thinking back. Zazuka's mind wondered over to Andrew and what he could be doing then again there was rarely a time she didn't think about Andrew.

"Umm, yeah...it was a bit of an awkward situation that day, but no matter now." Kat said, forcing a bit a grin. That was still a fairly fresh wound that she didn't want to pull the scab from. "So you're a second year then. How are classes going for you? I loved them all last year." she said quickly trying to change the subject.

Zazuka nodded. "I like then all but I really don't see much point in Astronomy. It could just be me though. There are famose astronomers that where also magic." She said wondering. "What electives do you have?" She asked wondering about what classes would be like the year to come.

"Ugh! I know, astronomy is the worst!" Kat said wrinkling her nose up. It had always been her least favorite class since she'd started at Hogwarts. "I'm taking Divination, Arithmancy, Care of Magical Creatures, and Muggle Studies. I took them all except for Ancient Runes...and I really don't need that one. What electives do you think you'll be taking?" she asked curiously. It was always nice to meet new people and know what their aspirations were.

Zazuka nodded. "I'm taking Ancient Runes and Divinations. I think the only one I'm not taking is Muggle Studies. I guess because I think that grew up around muggles so I don't need to learn about them. I want to learn about potions more though It's one of favorets along with Herbology though I don't much care for the new teacher." She said all at once. Zazuka's eyes had gotten dreamyer when she thought of what who she going to be working really close to in Care of Magical creatures.

"Muggle studies is really easy. I have my fair share of muggles in my family so it's been an incredibly easy course for me." she said thoughtfully and then added, "Potions isn't too bad. Herbology used to be my favorite, but not so much anymore since Professor Rambolt left." Kat thought about the creepy old man who had taken over her favorite teachers position, therefore making the class not quite as tolerable. "Care of Magical Creatures is fun too, though I haven't had the new professor yet. I'm not sure how he runs things, but Professor Taggart was fabulous. He was a nice old man." It made her a little sad that there were so many new teachers this year. If it had been a new professor for astronomy then she'd find it completely normal, but to no longer have Professor Rambolt, Keller, or Taggart was a little heart breaking.

Zazuka sighed. "Professor Rambolt was the best. I wish she where here. Professor Cross seems to be waring down a bit. He's huge. Have you seen him I think there giant in his blood." She said standing on tiptoe. Zazuka had her right hand high over her head to signal the high. even if this gave the five foot two inch girl a few more inches in hight it still didn't come close to how tall Professor Cross was.

"He is a very tall man. Hmm, I wonder if he does have giant in his blood? That would be fascinating!" Kat said thinking about how large the man actually was, but with her only standing at 5'4" most everyone looked tall to her. She looked thoughtfully at Zazuka and then asked her curiously, "Urm, so do you often wander down here alone to sing and twirl?" She only asked because the dungeons gave Kat the creeps, plus they were cold, dark, and dreary...she couldn't imagine why anyone would want to be down here unless they had to be. Well, unless of course you were a Slytherin.

Zazuka shugged slightly. "From time to time. This is not a very inviting place but the echos are perfict here. My voice sounds so much better here than in up there and it make it seem like I'm singing to otheres." She said her voice all the dreamyer. "Anyway I have someone down here that would find me if I got lost." She added with a soft blush on her cheeks.

((what she was singing incase you where wondering))

((hehe...i actually googled it the other day when we started...i like it ^_^ ))

Kat thought that this girl was peculiar yet absolutely spectacular at the same time. She was a very happy soul and that was what Kat had been needing more of lately. "I see. I'll have to keep that in mind, though I don't usually do public appearances." she joked with a light bit of laughter. Kat saw the flushing of the girls cheeks and she couldn't help but smile and ask, "Oh really now? I'm guessing it's a Slytherin if they are down in this neck of the woods. May I inquire as to who it might be?" She remembered her own Slytherin, but for some reason remembering him this way didn't cause her heart to ache.

Zazuka blushed a bit harder under the dim light of the torches. "Yes he is a Slytherin second year by the name of Andrew Bruke." She said with the brightest of smiles on her slightly red face. "Well it not really public if the people your singing too are in the walls. Listening and silently appauding you but never making thier persence known." She said looking around a the Dungeons that seems to scare alot of people.

((ZOMG!! Sorry I haven't replied in a few days :( Been really busy and such))

Kat just grinned sheepishly at the girl. "I know Andrew...he's in the SDA! So how long have you two been an item?" she asked hoping that she wasn't nosing in. She thought on Zazuka's statement about singing in public and laughed before saying, "I think that even the walls would scoff at me if I sang...I'm not that brilliant at it."

((It's ok I saw that you where by the post you made in the graphics request page))

Zazuka laughed. "The echos wouldn't laugh unless you laugh. They will laugh with you. He is? Oh I remember that Kailey told me that Andrew was in that club. I would say since the beguning of this semester. You could say I'm still new at this." She said laughing deliculty into her hand.

"Oh I'm pretty sure the walls would laugh! An angelic voice was not one of those things that I was blessed with!" she said laughing. "So was it love at first sight?" Kat half joked with a little wink.

Zazuka looked at the cold walls of the dungeons with clouded over eyes. "No it was more like love over time. I only really started to talk to him this year but I felt a connection with him you know?" She said hoping she made sence but then again she didn't often make that much sence.

"I know what you mean." Kat said plainly, knowing exactly how Zazuka felt. She just hoped that her new friends relationship went far better than hers had. "So where are you from?" Kat asked curiously, not knowing anything about this girl that she was befriending.

Zazuka was starting to get comfterble with that question. "I'm from a small town hidden in a wood called Willow's Rain. Where are you from?" She asked with a bright smile. She hadn't thought about Willow's Rain in while and she wondered if eventually she would even forget where the place was. Maybe it would faid into her memory so that she could never find Willow's Rain again. Zazuka would like that and she would be granting her parents wishes never to set foot there again.

"Is that in New Zealand?" Kat asked, having never heard of Willow's Rain before. "Well, right now my family lives in New Zealand, but I'm originally from Surrey, England. Do you have any brothers or sisters?" she replied, wanting to know more about the interesting girl she'd met.

Zazuka nodded. "It is but like I said it's hidden. You need to know where it is to find it really. There is only one road in an out I know because I used to take it all the time." She said with the brightest smile she could. Talking about it was bringing back some memories she didn't want. "I have two older brothers." She said again with a sort of faided smile.

Kat nodded, but noticed that the brightness of Zazuka's demeanor was slowly fading. Deciding not to persue any more really personal questions Kat changed the subject quickly. "So what do you do for fun? Do you play quidditch?" she asked, wondering what they had in common.

Zazuka brightened instently. "I'm too gentle for Quddich but I do play little bit. I'm no where near good enough to go out fot the house team but I can play for fun. I sing for fun and I dance in the rain and I go out and take care of my Venimose Tandula. They are plants you know." She said thinking of her giant venus fly trap like plants. She happy they where off the subjet of families. She had not seen her's in two years. She missed her mother some what but all in all was happy to be away from all the pain.
