Lola had headphones one and was tapping her foot to the beat with a book in front of her. This was one activity that you didn't often see Lola do, sit down and read. She was usually out side running until her breath drained from her body. This was the only way she could get rid of the massive stores of energy that she carried around on max at all hours of the day. She had done that very thing not too long ago in fact. She had just got done playing a soccer game with her friends but now she needed to buckle down and look up what Professor Styx had assigned them. Lola had the assignment done already writing about something she had remembered from the book she had been reading. Wolves-bane was like she had an interesting plant all things considered. She missed her horse.

She missed her dogs and cats. She missed all her pets. Lola could go out and try to train her new owl like she had done before but somehow she didn't have the energy for it anymore. She really had given herself a work out. So she had her Herbology book out and was looking over the different plants again. While she did read she was thinking of how they would be cared for. Lola was no stranger to work like gardening. Her mother and father where owners of a farm in El Salavador which had gotten them enough money to move out to New Zealand to start another here while Lola went to school. She and her brothers would work the crops whenever they had the chance.

She missed that. The country air anyway. Her brothers and sisters running everywhere and Lola the youngest of the lot with all the role models she could ever need. In the "muggle" world anyway. Here at Hogwarts Lola had no idea what she was meant to act like or what was expected of her. She was here to learn magic of course but what then. Stumbling across these thoughts Lola had to put the book down. Even with full Rasputnia in her ears she couldn't focus. With a sigh she took out a crystal ball that she had bought for herself with the money she had turned into gallions and started to throw it up like a baseball. The store had called it a Rememberall but she hadn't seen it turn red once. Not even when she had forgotten to not remember the Game.
