Evangeline walked up the curved, stone path towards her home. It was a gift from her parents for returning home and actually deciding to stay in a permanent home. She opened the large door and stepped into the foyer and took her coat off and placed it onto the coat rack near the door. Evangeline walked from room to room, surveying it and moving things to where she deemed functional. She grinned widely when she walked into the kitchen; it was large with a big stove and refrigerator. It was absolutely perfect for cooking in and for entertainment; which she would be doing frequently.
Evan was pleased with her new home and ecstatic that it was already furnished. It saved her the trouble of purchasing furniture and accents. Her bedroom was up the stairs and on the left hallway. It had an elegant bed frame made of black ebony wood and the headboard was carved. The dressers and vanity set were of the same make. Evangeline walked back downstairs and retrieved her clothing and other personal belongings and began the tedious task of putting them in their proper place.
