Lessons were over, exams were completed, and graduation was on the horizon. In less than a month Ten would graduate, and while she was proud of herself and how far she'd come, the friends she made (and resolved) it was still bittersweet to be saying goodbye. "Next year, Felix will be taking over the club," the prefect addressed the students in the room. What he did with it was now up to her little brother. For years they hadn't seen eye to eye, but these days Ten was proud of him too. "Sure, maybe we don't have sleepovers or competitions," at least they didn't for now, "but brewing potions is one of the most important elements of magic." Just because they weren't using their wands didn't make it any less crucial. Maybe Felix would bring an air to it that Ten lacked, given the seventh year had focused a lot on supporting students alongside their subjects, but only time would tell.
"Like last year, this is your chance to brew something. Maybe it's something you learned this year, or a potion you want to try again from when you were younger," Ten glanced to the professor that stood to the side of the room. "But this isn't a test. Your exams are over and this is just for practice." There were cauldrons on each bench, and the students were divided up into their year groups to make it easier to help one another. "First years, you can use this as a chance to speak to some of the older students, or watch what they're doing, or you can can go through the theory of ingredients." She gave a nod to their supervisor, "If you have any problems, come to me or Felix, or Professor Finch." The Potions master had agreed to help them out today by watching over the students brewing techniques, although Ten always hoped no one was going to explode any of their creations. While Ten hoped that these kids would continue to make the most of the chance they got to explore potions and plants, the prefect kept the notion to herself, not wanting to make things feel too soppy and awkward. She started to fiddle with the damp soil in a pot of Alihotsy, trying to avoid the inevitable goodbye.

Out of Character:
Welcome to the Brew Crew end of year potion brewing! You're free to create a potion your character has already made in one of their previous lessons, but please ensure you're not brewing anything that you're too young to have learnt yet. Students are welcome to mingle among tables, but will have originally been asked to sit at a table with those in their year group. Any questions please tag either myself or @Professor Ioan Finch !
